THE CHURCH IS NOT AN AUDIENCE TO BE ENTERTAINED, IT’S AN ARMY TO BE EMPOWERED.
The church is not meant to be a place where believers simply watch, listen, and remain passive. It is a place where followers of Christ are trained, strengthened, and equipped to serve God and reach others with the Gospel. Every believer has a role in God’s mission. Through worship, preaching, prayer, and fellowship, the church prepares Christians to stand strong in faith, resist the enemy, and live boldly for Christ.
God calls His people to be spiritually active—sharing truth, loving others, and standing together in unity like an army advancing His kingdom. When the church is empowered by the Holy Spirit, it becomes a powerful witness to the world.
“And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.”
Ephesians 4:11–12
“Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.”
2 Timothy 2:3
