The Blue Renaissance has proven again its excellence in the field of school journalism by bagging several prestigious awards at the 2024 Divisional School Publication Contest in the Division of Pampanga.
The competition brought together the best school publications from across the Division of Pampanga, showcasing outstanding talent in writing, layout, and campus journalism.

The Blue Renaissance earned the 3rd Best School Paper award, along with seven other recognitions, solidifying its reputation for journalistic excellence.
Among the awards won were 3rd Place News Page, 3rd Place Opinion Page, 5th Place Feature Page, 3rd Place Sports Page, 6th Place Layout and Design, and 3rd Place Science and Technology Page, proving their versatility in the field of campus journalism.

Editor-in-Chief Charles Vasquez emphasized the importance of planning and teamwork, stating that a well-organized approach was key to their success.
"At the start of the school year, we already had a plan in mind," said Editor-in-Chief Charles Vasquez.
"We kicked things off with a brainstorming session and put an emphasis on the key issues that needed attention, ensuring these stories would reach the students."
The publication's success was not just about awards but also about the journey and growth of the student journalists.
"The team won't be productive if we're not having fun," Charles added. "Every coverage is an opportunity for us to get to know each other better and enjoy every story we uncover along the way."

Mariel Lyka Del Luna, school paper adviser, emphasized the importance of careful planning in crafting stories that resonate with the school community.
"The Blue Renaissance carefully planned the news in each section to mirror authentic stories and grab the attention of the people within and outside the school community," she said.
She highlighted that their success was rooted in teamwork, countless revisions, and constant consultations with their mentors and coaches.
With this achievement, The Blue Renaissance has not only honed their journalistic skills but also developed character, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
Charles believes that campus journalism has helped him grow as a leader,
communicator, and problem-solver, preparing him for future endeavors.
"Journalism has taught me to value the truth and understand the responsibility that comes with sharing information. It made me realize that when people are informed, they can create change," he stated.
