Dear Test Drive Unlimited Team,

I’m writing this not out of frustration, but out of genuine hope—hope that the game so many of us once fell in love with can one day live up to its name again.

I’ve been holding onto that excitement every time a new update drops. I reinstall with optimism, thinking maybe this is the one that brings the spark back. But time and again, I’m met with disappointment: persistent frame drops, controls that feel more frustrating than fun, and a driving experience that’s missing the soul that made the original Test Drive Unlimited unforgettable.

It hurts a bit, honestly. I want to love this game. I want to stay in it for hours like I used to. But right now, I find myself uninstalling after 30 minutes, not because I want to, but because I can’t bring myself to enjoy it the way I once did.

The handling—especially braking—feels detached from reality. Cars don’t respond gradually; they skid like I’m driving on ice, and that disconnect breaks the immersion that TDU used to do so well.

But here I am, still checking every update, still believing there’s something in the works that might bring back that magic. Bring back the essence—the spirit of freedom, of cruising open roads with purpose, the lifestyle and legacy the original TDU captured so beautifully.

You’ve built something with a legacy that means something to people. Please, tap into that heart again. We’re still here, still hoping.

While Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut remains region-locked in the Philippines due to its PSN requirement, there’s good news for PC gamers: Sony has finally lifted the region lock on several major PlayStation titles on Steam!
