Attention all 3rd Year Engineering, EP, IT, CS, MMA, and 4th Year Architecture students!

As we begin a new academic year filled with growth and exciting opportunities, we are gearing up to plan meaningful student activities. To start, the Dean has scheduled a Parents Meeting on October 11, 2025 (8:00 AM – 12:00 NN) at the AVR, Glamang Campus.

In line with this, all concerned students are requested to claim a copy of the letter to parents at the Dean's Office starting today, October 6, 2025, 1:30 PM.

“𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘒𝘦𝘺 𝘪𝘴 𝘈𝘳𝘨𝘶𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵”
The world is rarely black and white; problems can be viewed from different perspectives. In order to fully explore these different viewpoints, intellectual discourse is needed. Debating aims to explore these viewpoints and ask the difficult questions in hopes of shedding light on different societal issues.
The Notre Dame Debate Varsity as a Sub-Society of Honors’ Society serves as a representation of NDDU’s commitment to academic excellence and holistic student development. It offers opportunities for students to engage in regional, national, and international debate tournaments, allowing them to showcase their talents and bring honor to the university. Ultimately, the Debate Varsity will be a catalyst for social awareness and advocacy, aligning with the university’s mission to form socially conscious and empowered Marist individuals.
𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐈𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐲
𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑭𝒍𝒂𝒎𝒆. Represents intellectual passion and the fiery spirit in the pursuit of competitive debate discourse. This symbolizes enlightenment, knowledge, and the pursuit of truth.
𝑪𝒐𝒍𝒖𝒎𝒏 𝑷𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒓. Representing the Temple of Apollo known as the God of Prophecy; wisdom and knowledge. The column of the logo carries the ideals of the varsity to become the source of wisdom, standing firm for stability and support in the process of provoking stereotypical beliefs of the society.
𝑳𝒂𝒖𝒓𝒆𝒍 𝑾𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒔. Victors in ancient Greece and Rome wore laurel crowns in honor of its victory in the field of intellectual discourse. NDDV as a Marist grounded organization, carries with it the university’s commitment and pride to quality education.
𝑴𝒆𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝒐𝒓 𝑮𝒓𝒆𝒆𝒌 𝑲𝒆𝒚. Unifying the logo is the Meander or Greek Key pattern that holds the essence of infinity and the eternal flow ideas. Its interlocking lines symbolizes the unified spirit of Marist Debaters to pursue engaging dialogues as a key to reach revolutionary answers.
𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐫
𝑩𝒍𝒖𝒆. The Deep Blue Aegean Sea is infused with calmness and storm. The blue color of the logo, filling the background, represents the sea of thought and deep analysis debaters have to master. And just like any body of water, it has its calm and stormy state symbolizing how fast arguments can shift and evolve. This brings us to realize that what makes one a good debater is its ability to adapt in the midst of chaotic transitions.
𝑮𝒐𝒍𝒅. Philosophers of the Greek era engage in Rhetorical discourse that breeds ideas who paved the way for growth and modernization. It has created speakers who became masters of persuasion and intellectual excellence and so, gave birth to Arete—excellence in any kind. This is one’s realization and pursuit of its full potential and inherent function in the society. We are who we are today, and our teachers are a big part of that. Most of our childhood was spent in school, learning, growing, and discovering life. But teachers are more than just people who teach lessons.

They are like our second parents who guide us with care. They can be our friends who are always ready to listen when we need someone to talk to. They help shape not only our minds but also our hearts.

On this Teachers’ Day, we celebrate every teacher who has been giving their best to their students. Thank you for your patience, dedication, and endless love. You make learning more than just about books; you make it about life.

In every emergency, knowledge can save a life. That’s why 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐢𝐝 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 is essential, it empowers us with confidence, care, and presence of mind when it matters most.

On October 4, 2025, 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 (𝐂𝐄𝐀𝐓) successfully conducted its 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐢𝐝 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 in partnership with the 𝐑𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐤, held at 𝐍𝐃𝐃𝐔 𝐆𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬. The event was a huge success, filled with learning, teamwork, and compassion.

Students walked away more confident, capable, and ready to help when someone’s in need. 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞!

The 21st Sangguniang Panlungsod of General Santos City has officially commended Notre Dame of Dadiangas University’s BS Computer Engineering team for winning the National CpE Challenge Quiz Bowl held at National University, Quezon City last May 8-9, 2025.

Their victory brings pride not only to NDDU but also to the city of Gensan, as they showcased academic excellence and competence on the national stage.

Coastal pollution is one of the biggest threats to our environment today. Plastics, bottles, and other waste often end up in our seas, harming marine life and destroying the beauty of our shores. But last 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟕, we took a stand the coast of Purok Minanga, Barangay Buayan, General Santos City was cleaned up, and 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭.

Through the leadership and initiative of the Supreme Student Government (𝐒𝐒𝐆), 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐭 became more than just a 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧-𝐮𝐩 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞, it turned into a movement of 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲. This activity would not be successful without the help of the Business College (𝐁𝐂), College of Health Sciences (𝐂𝐇𝐒), College of Education, Arts and Sciences (𝐂𝐄𝐀𝐒), College of Engineering, Architecture, and Technology (𝐂𝐄𝐀𝐓), The Voice Publication (𝐓𝐕𝐏), and Philippine Nursing Student Association - NDDU (𝐏𝐍𝐒𝐀).

This activity is just the start of a greater movement to build a culture of care and responsibility for our environment. 𝑻𝒐𝒈𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓, 𝒘𝒆 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝑲𝒂𝒃𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒂𝒕 𝒊𝒏 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒐𝒄𝒆𝒂𝒏𝒔 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒑𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒖𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏.

Youth are the future of the nation; do you remember when you were a kid, receiving things would make your day seem never-ending — It could last for days or even weeks if you received a thing.

Guided by the core values of Notre Dame of Dadiangas University (𝐍𝐃𝐃𝐔), especially 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐅𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤, last 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟖, the CEAT family held their community extension activity, where they gave school supplies to the students of 𝐒𝐭𝐨. 𝐍𝐢ñ𝐨 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥, an adopted school of the 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 (𝐂𝐄𝐀𝐓).

This activity encouraged young learners to keep pursuing their dreams with hope and determination. It also 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐧𝐝 between 𝐂𝐄𝐀𝐓 and the 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲, showing the spirit of generosity and care that CEAT upholds.

- White polo or shirt with collar (𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗻, 𝗻𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗼𝘀/𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝘀)
- Decent pants, slacks, or skirt
- Student ID and proper shoes

If not available, you may wear your 𝗢𝗝𝗧 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗿𝘁 or 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺.
