The Philippine Retirement Authority reminds all foreign retirees that senior citizen benefits and privileges, including the 20% discount and VAT exemption are exclusively for Filipino citizens aged 60 and above.

Misrepresentation or fraudulent use of senior citizen IDs may result in criminal prosecution, cancellation of immigration status, or deportation.

Etravel registration is a must-have when traveling or departing from the Philippines for certain travelers. Foreign passport holders are required to do etravel registration when traveling to the Philippines. When departing from the Philippines you are no longer required to do etravel. While, Philippine passport holders on the other hand are required to do etravel registration for arrival and departure to and from the Philippines. Please be guided.
