I grew up being a catechist in our community, and teaching in Flores de Mayo every summer has always been something I truly enjoy. Kapoy siya gamay, because tingnan niyo naman. Ang mga batang itoooooo! Hahahhaa bitaw especially when youโre handling kids with different personalities.
For one whole month, you try to understand and guide kids na di man unta nato kadugo pero hoiiiii neverrrrr ma attach! ๐ซฃ
Every day was filled with:
โAte Nikkiiiii!โ
โNan, pag kami late bawal, pero siya pwede!โ
โDi ko magsulod kay gisigahan kog mata ni ate Nikki!โ
โAte Nikki, mag-practice ta?โ
Itโs a voluntary work Iโll never get tired of giving my all to. All the smiles, laughter, and moments with the kids make it worth it kay summer ra ni sila mulugwa! So, every day with them is special. ๐ฅฐโค๏ธ
Mura joooowg dili shuldeta sa klase si ate Nikki no? HAHAHAHA mapagpanggap! ๐ญ
But honestly, itโs a bittersweet feeling hearing them say after the event, โAte Nikki, naa paka sunod Flores?โ And I wish I could say yes right away gyudโฆ but I know I canโt promise. Kasi, ate Nikki needs to be an adult too. ๐ฅน๐ฅฒ
Ma-miss ko kayo! Ma-shock nalang ako yung mga students, kalaki na! Tapos yung mga malalaki na, hindi na mamansin! Mahiya na magpansin pag magkita sa kanto!? HAHAHAHAHAHA KAYO HA ISA LANG TAYO NG COMMUNITY! LAH GALEEEET!? ๐คจ
Pero, ganito talaga yan. Sanayan lang. And I'm glad, we became part of each otherโs lives even just for a month. โน๏ธโค๏ธ
Thank You, Lord, for giving me the heart and strength to do this. Iโll always carry this with me. 4EVERRRRRR ๐ผ
