On a Facebook post on Monday, April 13, Atty. Romeo A. Sustiguer Jr., Ed.D, PhD, President of Green Valley College Foundation Inc., announced that the institution will implement an electronic clearance system aimed to eliminate the long queues inconvenience experienced by students during manual processing.
He emphasized that the pila-pila (long queue lines) system should be replaced.
โNaalala niyo yung pila pila sa clearance? My direction to Team GVC is clear: pila-pila should be a thing of the past,โ he stated.
The planned transition to a digital clearance system seeks to streamline the process by allowing students to complete requirements electronically.
He also noted that, once implemented, students may no longer need to physically report to campus for clearance processing.
"Since we are moving to an electronic clearance system, there may be no need to go to school physically for clearance," he added.
The initiative forms part of the institutionโs effort to improve efficiency and adapt to digital solutions in academic and administrative services, amid rising costs that affect student mobility.
Further details regarding the rollout and guidelines of the electronic clearance system are expected to be released in the coming weeks.
