General Santos Doctors Medical School Foundation Inc. holds its 20th Cap & Pin Investiture and Candle Lighting Ceremony on September 19, 2025, with the theme โ€œFortifying Excellence Towards Quality Health Care Servicesโ€. The event is held at The Word for Everyone Ministries International Inc. and is honored by the presence of the keynote speaker, Hon. Ma. Jasette Binaday-Canales, Member of the Regulatory Board of Radiologic Technology Professional Regulation Commission.

GSDMSFI celebrates the dedication and hard work of 327 student candidates from various allied health programs. These include 3 students from the Bachelor of Science in Midwifery, 9 students from the Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, 65 students from the Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology, and 250 students from the Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Each student receives a cap, a pin, and a candle as a token of honor. These symbolize their commitment to uphold the core values of the institution as they move forward from their academic life to clinical practice. This ceremony marks the beginning of their journey towards becoming excellent and compassionate healthcare professionals in the near future.
