Prayers offered at the temple…

One night, last July 10 actually, I was on my way home to the hostel after meeting a friend. I took a grab motorbike. As we passed by Wat Lok Moli, I saw more people around the Chedi.

I kindly asked the driver to just drop me then.

From here, I silently observe how people express their veneration. I just took few clips to remember these moments.

We may not of the same faith, but these help me to reflect of my own faith.

Random meetings with Sijia.

Grateful to have the chance to sit and talk again, just like the old times. But… of course, changes.

Sem sem but deperent😉

2017
Random meeting in a hostel in Yerevan, Armenia.
Imagine, we were 8 years younger at that time.
I just discovered how to travel to have fun in a cheaper way and to escape works’ stress and pressure.
Sijia was actively traveling at that time, eager to see every place and even wanted to reach a beautiful, will always be a beautiful place even if it was torn by war.

We did hitchhiking, a lot of walking around Armenia.

But then, we are not long-term travelers. There’s a reality that we had to go back. Studies. Work.

And we met twice in Abu Dhabi also, in-between.

I was based in Abu Dhabi and Sijia traveled once with her mom. The next one, I think she had a transit in Abu Dhabi.

2025
Meet-up in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
8 years older. Sem sem but deperent☺️

We had better and lavish dinner now compared to 8 years ago😊

But as we sit down and talk, not really catching up but randomly share our present views in life. We may not be on the same page, but we can totally relate.

SLEEP.
Tired from work😃
Not lost but still searching for a place in this world.

Slow travels. We do not need to see everything (unlike before.) But still, traveling gives more meaning to this YOLO.

Lately, we are settled to meet, sit and talk over an extra large ordered local food in a known restaurant. Visit some place for a leisurely walk on a cooler evening. Unlike in Armenia, we are chasing places and time. I don’t know where the energy went, but I have lesser fear of missing out now😊

Hot spring… Literally hot😊

A mother’s nature gift to us. A secret unfolded for us to enjoy.❤️

We had a stop here while we are going around Chiang Rai. I wish I had another 30 minutes to spend here. But grateful enough for the given time.

I visited two villages in Mae Hong Son, Thailand where the Kayan Tribe is living. They are also known as Long Neck tribe originally from Myanmar.

The brass rings on their neck symbolizes beauty, nobility and cultural preservation. In the older times, the rings serves as protection
