One of the most humbling aspects of the Prophetβs ο·Ί life was the way he served those around him.
Despite being the Messenger of Allah, the leader of the believers, and the most honored of creation, he lived with simplicity and humility.
Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) was asked what the Prophet ο·Ί did in his home. She replied: βHe used to serve his family, and when the time for prayer came, he would go out to pray.β [Bukhari]
He mended his own clothes, milked his goat, and assisted with household chores. He never considered such acts beneath him, because he taught us that dignity comes not from being served, but from serving others.
This Sunnah is a powerful reminder in our time, when pride and self-importance often distance people from humility. To truly follow the Prophet ﷺ is to adopt his spirit of service⦠whether to family, community, or society at large.
Greatness is not in how many serve you, but in how many you serve for the sake of Allah.
