I’ve been away again for more than a month here but for all the good reasons!

I’ve onboarded my first ever local (PH based) client for my full social media management services last May so my focus really shifted in making sure that everything is as smooth as butter for them.

This is on top of my full time job + an ongoing graphic design gig that require a lot of time (and energy 😮‍💨) from me so my own page had to take a back seat 😬🙊

Unfortunately, that new client had to immediately pause my services due to some internal business matters (reality of freelancing 😢). Buuut rather than being so upset about it (although it was really sad for me) I chose to see things in a positive light. Because of that short project:

— I learned how to conduct a deep market research and document everything
— I had finalized a majority of my templates that can be used already for future clients 🤞
— I had more experience and practice and creating graphics and short-form videos
— I now have more insights and learnings that will make my systems more efficient!

So overall, still a win! My month of inactivity here has also made me slow down and do things for my happiness and fullfilment a.k.a being more physically active 🤣

Bottomline, my message here is that sometimes, life can make you pause along the way or the universe can throw unexpected things in your path but what matters most is you continue and keep moving forward— along with the lessons you pick up from the journey!

So here’s me popping in here once again!!! Hoping you can still join me as I share more learnings and shenanigans 🫶✨

First photo is my current work space, the second one was my humble set up when I started doing remote work in 2023 😁

Not much of an updgrade but something I’m
proud of ✨

Madaming mas priority than upgrading at the moment but seeing this transition makes me realize that you can really be so much more if you set your intentions and follow through with them. 💫

Will definitely be adding upgrades little by little, but as one of may favorite Tagalog quotes say:

✨ “𝒎𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒚𝒐 𝒑𝒂, 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒐 𝒎𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒚𝒐 𝒏𝒂”✨

Just like my career path right now, sobrang layo ko pa sa dream freelancing life ko, but looking back at almost 2 years ago, sobrang layo ko na din when it comes to skills, learnings, and overall confidence to navigate this freelancing world.

It took me countless of sleepless nights and huge loads of doubt and anxiety to get to where I am today.

And it will take many more mistakes and lessons (even failures) if I want to be more 💪

Morale of the story: It takes grit, passion, and resilience if you want WFH to be your reality.

It’s never just “type type lang” and “tunganga lang sa screen” but it’s discipline, grit, and perseverance.

And the freedom that you’ll get will definitely be worth it ✨

Hoping this inspires a soul or two, especially to those aspiring to make this their career path as well 🤎
