2 Weeks nalang, na.

To those who will be taking the bar this year, know that you are in my prayers. 🙏⚖️

I spent 16 years in and out sa law school.

Not bec bagsak bagsak ako (meron 1 subject lang, haha),

but bec I was a family man and a working student. Hindi ako nag full load.

I worked through different industries hanggang sa nahanap ko ang niche ko sa HR at naging HR head for the PH team...

A husband, and a father of 3.

Mahirap pero kinaya ko naman.

At sa awa ng Diyos, I passed the bar on my first take.

Malapit na ang bar, pag igihan niyo ang pag aaral. Totoong REVIEW na dapat ang ginagawa niyo ngayon. Wag na mag FIRST VIEW. Too late.

Higit sa lahat, samahan niyo ng matinding dasal ang bawat araw, oras, minuto na meron kayo.

Hug your loved ones.

Eat healthy. Kahit sleep deprived, basta maayos ang pagakain at hindi ka dehydrated, kaya yan!

Judicial Affidavit: What Is It?

A judicial affidavit is a sworn written testimony that generally takes the place of a witness’s direct oral testimony in court. It must be filed and served within the period required by the applicable rules—under the Judicial Affidavit Rule, generally not later than five days before pre-trial, preliminary conference, or the scheduled hearing. [Sec. 2 (1) (2), Judicial Affidavit Rule]

It should contain the witness’s personal circumstances, the questions asked and answers given, the facts personally known to the witness, and the identification and authentication of attached documentary or object evidence. The affidavit must be signed by the witness and sworn before a notary public or other authorized officer. [Sec. 3 (a) (b) (c), Judicial Affidavit Rule]

In expedited proceedings, a witness generally may not testify unless the required judicial affidavit has been submitted, except on rebuttal. The affidavit then serves as the witness’s direct testimony. [Rules on Expedited Procedure in the First Level Courts (2022)]

The rule is intended to shorten trials, reduce postponements, and prevent delay. The Supreme Court has upheld its use as a valid procedural measure that does not deprive a party of due process. [Lagon v. Velasco, et al., G.R. No. 208424, February 14, 2018]
