🚨 NOT RESIGNED: Nadia Montenegro in Hot Seat Over Alleged Ma*****na Use at Senate 🚨

Nadia Montenegro, political affairs officer in the office of Senator Robin Padilla, is facing controversy after reports surfaced about an “unusual scent” allegedly linked to ma*****na inside the Senate ladies’ restroom.

👉 On August 13, 2025, Padilla’s office directed Montenegro to take an immediate leave of absence, not resignation, while an internal probe is conducted. She was also required to submit her written explanations—one in response to media reports by August 18, and another to the Senate Sergeant-at-Arms’ official incident report by August 19.

👉 The OSAA report cited two separate occasions (mid-July and August 12) where the unusual smell was detected. A staffer even noted that Montenegro was the only person in the restroom area during one of those times.
