It is with deep sorrow that the Mt. Apo Sta. Cruz Trail Guides Association announces the passing of our fellow mountain guide and brother, Don Kulot

He met his untimely death while rescuing a person during their recent tour—an ultimate act of courage and selflessness that truly reflects his character. Don was not only a dedicated guide but also a strong supporter of his fellow guides, always ready to extend a helping hand and share his passion for the mountains.

His legacy of service, bravery, and camaraderie will forever be remembered in our community and on the trails of Mt. Apo.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones during this difficult time. May his soul rest in peace. 🕊️⛰️
