*IMPORTANT INFORMATION*

SCS have suddenly launched an open beta for game update version 1.48.5.

This is problematic in many different ways.
1) ProMods 2.66 is configured to work on any version that begins with 1.48, so in the mod manager it will seem that ProMods 2.66 will be compatible with 1.48.5 - however it is not.
2) If you wish to continue using ProMods 2.66 you must ensure that Steam is set to stable release 1.48 and not to open beta 1.48.5
3) In order to make ProMods 2.66 compatible with 1.48.5 we are forced to release a new update 2.67. It will not be mandatory to download this version if you roll back to 1.48.0 but if you decide to use 1.48.5 then it will be necessary to update.
4) Because TruckersMP always support the latest version of the game, it will not be possible to run ProMods 2.66 with TMP soon.
This is another reason for us to release ProMods 2.67 to enable compatibility.

We are extremely sorry that this update is coming so soon after the last release. Again, content wise there will be very little change between the two versions. You may simply chose to stick with 1.48.0 and 2.66. There will be some bug fixes in 2.67 however.

We anticipate that the entire community will be very confused by this update, particularly those people who use lots of mods. Because many mods will indicate that they are compatible whereas they are actually not. Also people will not necessarily notice the difference between the different 1.48 versions because there is little emphasis on the secondary digits.

Hopefully this explanation helps to spread some knowledge about this update.
