𝗦𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗣-𝗕𝗔𝗗𝗔𝗖 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗙𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗴-𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗮

The Gerona Municipal Police Station, in partnership with our LGU, conducted the Strengthening Institutional Capacities Against Illegal Drugs – Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (SICAP-BADAC) Orientation at Gerona Covered Court, Poblacion 1, Gerona, Tarlac, with the active participation of BADAC members from the 44 barangays of Gerona.

The program opened with the welcome remarks of our Acting Chief of Police, PLTCOL EDILBERTO SANTIAGO, followed by an inspiring message from our Vice Mayor, Hon. Engr. Eloy C. Eclar.

Resource speakers included representatives from PDEA Tarlac, IO I Angeline Ing-Inga who discussed the Sustainability of Barangay Drug Clearing Program, and IO I Jiana Daluping who explained the Requirements on the Application of Retention of Drug-cleared and Drug-free Status.

Further lectures were delivered by PLT VIVIAN CARIAGA, CAD Officer of CATA/EO70, and LGOO VI Jessica Esguerra, MLGOO of Gerona, who tackled the BADAC Functionality Audit, Duties, and Responsibilities.

The program concluded with a meaningful closing message from Hon. Councilor Eufrocino Bartolome Jr., Peace and Order Council Chairman, emphasizing unity and dedication in keeping Gerona safe and drug-free.

This initiative was made possible through the support of our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Engr. May B. Eclar, together with our LGU and partner agencies.

Together, we remain committed to strengthening our fight against illegal drugs and ensuring a safer, drug-free Gerona.

In response to Super Typhoon “NANDO”, the Gerona Fire Station, led by FSINSP MELINE M MANALAYSAY, conducted a coordination with the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC) to strengthen emergency readiness across the Municipality.

Firetrucks are on standby and water levels are being closely monitored to ensure the safety of our community.

This proactive partnership boosts our preparedness for any emergency.
