𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | 🏆 VALED BAGS 1ST PLACE DURING GICC’s ART DAY

In celebration of the 79th Founding Anniversary of Gingoog Christian College and the rich diversity of its community, an “Art Day” was held today, at 2:00 PM in the GICC Covered Court.

Utilizing the theme “𝙍𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙘𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙖𝙨𝙩, 𝘾𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙇𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙖 𝙒𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙘 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙑𝙞𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙂𝙄𝘾𝘾”, learners from the kindergarten to the college level and the ever-active Basic Education faculty and staff, unleashed their artistic prowess through poster-making and drawing. The contest lasted for two hours, with winners from different clusters bagging recognition and cash prizes during the awarding ceremonies.

Clinching 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 in Cluster C (College Level) was 𝗥𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗟𝘂𝗸𝗲 𝗕𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗼 from the Values Education department, followed by BSED Science (2nd) and BPA (3rd) respectively. Luke previously won 1st Place for Poster-Making during the 2025 Nutrition Month celebration.

Indeed, GICCians are vibrant representations of the wholistic nurture and care provided by GICC—showcasing excellence in all ways for the greater glory of God.

📸 𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | GICC Intrams 2025 College Awarding and Closing Ceremonies

The GICC Intrams 2025 for the college department drew to a close on September 29, 2025.

The awarding ceremonies began with a prayer from Rev. Beryl S. Sale (UCCP Gingoog Administrative Minister), the lowering of the Department Banners by the Department Governors and Vice Governors, which was quickly followed by an inspiring message from the Over-all Intrams 2025 Chairman Mr. Eduardo Zapanta, and finally the much-awaited awarding ceremonies, where winning GICCian athletes and teams received their awards and accolades!

After tallying all the points, settling the scores and playing their all, here are the placement results of ever college department in the GICC Intrams 2025:

🥉 3rd Place: Bachelor of Public Administration
🥈 2nd Place: Bachelor of Elementary Education
🥇 1st Place: Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Science
🏆 Over-all Champion: Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Values Education

Congratulations to all the athletes, students, sports committees, coaches, referees and sports heads for a successful Intramurals 2025!

📸 𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | More smiles and more victories continue as the 💙Val Ed Blue Eagles🦅 conquer new heights. Setting and spiking their way to a landslide victory, the Men’s team are hailed as the new Champions in the Men’s Volleyball Division!

Meanwhile, the Women’s team fought hard and finish strong, earning the 2nd place in the Women’s Volleyball’s Division.

The Values Education Department start✨strong✨ as GICC Intrams 2025 officially commenced last September 23, 2025.

With the theme “𝓢𝓱𝓪𝓹𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓒𝓱𝓪𝓶𝓹𝓲𝓸𝓷𝓼: 𝓓𝓮𝓿𝓮𝓵𝓸𝓹𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓒𝓱𝓪𝓻𝓪𝓬𝓽𝓮𝓻 𝓣𝓱𝓻𝓸𝓾𝓰𝓱 𝓢𝓹𝓸𝓻𝓽𝓼”, Val Ed students unleashed their athletic prowess as they took on the formidable BPA Bulldogs in Table Tennis and Sepak Takraw.

𝗪𝗔𝗧𝗖𝗛 | VAL ED OVER ALL COLLEGE CHAMPS IN GICC INTRAMS 2025 👑💙

After a two-year hiatus, the Values Education Department brought home the crown in this year’s Intramurals 2025!

With a whopping 𝟮𝟱𝟴 points across all sporting events, the Val Ed Department was officially declared as the 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿-𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻 (College Level) during today’s closing ceremonies headed by Mr. Eduardo Zapanta as the GICC Intrams 2025 over-all chairman.

Each spike, smash, shoot, and cheer was a testament of excellence, perseverance, sportsmanship and camaraderie—fostering and developing each student and athlete’s character through sports.

The road was tough, the odds were stacked against them, and the heat was often unbearable but the heart of a Val Ed Blue Eagle continues to soar high amidst trials and challenges—emerging victorious despite it all!
