Proverbs 31:30-31 Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.
A woman who fears the Lord is truly worthy of praise. Her beauty is not found in outward appearances but in her deep relationship with God. It is in walking closely with Him that her authenticity shines, free from deception and rooted in truth. When she clothes herself with reverence and humility, she reflects a heart secure in the love of her Creator. She does not seek validation from the world, for her confidence comes from the One who knows her completely.
God sees her quiet strength and honors the work of her hands. He delights in her faithfulness, her awe of Him, and the life she lives in humble surrender. This is true beauty, sacred and enduring, and pleasing to the Lord.
Almighty God, thank You for helping me realize that the true beauty of a woman is not found in charm or a pretty face, but in genuine reverence for Your name. Thank You for making us feel seen, valued, and important by honoring our hard work, Lord. Thank You for looking at us through Your loving eyes, which see not our appearance but our hearts. May we always seek deeper intimacy in our relationship with You, Lord. Give us the strength to continue walking in our purpose. And may we not only appear beautiful, but also be women who are reverent, faithful, and devoted to You. In Jesusโ name, Amen.
