ALULONG, is the title of both contemporary artist 's latest graphic novel and his soon to open exhibition at Parola’s Gallery One. This exhibition, being Tapaya’s reaction to the world-making and storytelling of this graphic novel, stands as an exploration of the different dimensions that tales may live in—contained within the four corners of a canvas, hardbound pages, and now an exhibition space.

Gaze upon the intricately illustrated spreads that detail Chi-Chi the dog’s daunting quest through Sitio Looban and walk amidst the likeness of his friends and perhaps…even his foes.

Be among the first to step into the deconstructed/reconstructed and re-imagined world of ALULONG by attending the opening reception starting at 5:00 PM on October 1!

The ISTORYA STUDIOS Bookshop & KAPE LUNAN will be CLOSED TOMMOROW, September 21, Sunday, in solidarity with the Filipino mass’ call for honesty and accountability from our officials regarding the rampant corruption sinking our country and all of us along with it.
