At 40+, I thought I was already too late in life.

While everyone was building families, careers, stabilityā€¦
I was still figuring things out.

No partner.
No clear direction.
Just meā€¦ and a lot of quiet nights questioning everything.

But hereā€™s what nobody tells you:

You donā€™t need to have it all figured out.
You just need to keep showing up.

Now?
I move differently.

I donā€™t have everything stable yet.
In factā€¦ Iā€™m starting over again.

Looking for work.
Rebuilding from scratch.
Trying to figure things out...again.

But this time, Iā€™m not panicking.

Because Iā€™ve learned this the hard way:
You can lose directionā€¦ and still not lose yourself.

And maybe thatā€™s what growth really looks like.

If youā€™re in your 30s or 40s and still figuring things outā€”
youā€™re not behind.

Youā€™re just getting honest.

It was a day full of waves, splash, and a very noisy rideā€¦
but Captain Keken stayed calm the whole time and got us to Apo Island safely.

Some rides are rough, but the right captain makes all the difference.

Took a bit longer than expected before the staff arrived, I think they were sorting things out internally.

Iā€™ll be honest, medyo dugay jud ko nag-waitā€¦ but I didnā€™t complain. I was just there with my laptop, letting time pass.

Then they offered me free coffee while I was waiting, I didnā€™t ask for it.

Small gesture, but it showed they were paying attention.

I wasnā€™t able to capture that moment on video, but tagging them here is my way of saying THANK YOU for thinking about your customers.

Not everything runs perfectly, but thoughtful service still goes a long way.

I was already on my way homeā€¦but my body had other plans.

Sometimes, the most unexpected stop isnā€™t part of the itinerary, itā€™s the one your body forces you to take.

This wasnā€™t the plan, but it was necessary.

Today didnā€™t go as planned.

I was already on the bus heading home to Dumaguete, but my stomach had been acting up even before I left Cebu.

After two toilet runs at the terminal and another round just minutes into the trip, I knew I couldnā€™t push through anymore.

So I asked the driver to drop me off in Minglanilla and decided to rest instead.

Some travel days really humble you.

If youā€™re visiting Busay at Moalboal, this is what it looks like.

Thereā€™s a spring, and inside it, a small cave you can explore.

I didnā€™t go in this time, I stayed outside to watch our things since there were quite a few people around.

Simple spot, but still worth seeing.

Easter morning at my auntieā€™s house in Cebu started with an egg hunt.

There were a lot of eggs hidden, but only 11 had cash inside, the rest were filled with chocolates.

Of course, we all ended up joining the fun.

Simple, playful, and honestly such a nice way to start the day.
