He is Risen!

Today is Easter Sunday, the celebration of the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

This sacred occasion is observed worldwide by Christians, including churches and communities across the Philippines.

Easter traces back to the New Testament account of Jesus rising from the dead on the third day after His crucifixion, following Good Friday. It completes the Holy Week observance.

It marks Christ’s victory over sin and death. It affirms the foundation of Christian faith which is resurrection and eternal life. A celebration symbolizing hope, renewal and victory over death.

"I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me, though he die, yet shall he live, and whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die." — John 11:25-26

Happy Easter everyone!

Palm Sunday: The Beginning of Holy Week

Palm Sunday, March 29, 2026, marks the start of Holy Week, one of the most important times in the Christian calendar. The occasion recalls when Jesus entered the city of Jerusalem and was welcomed by crowds who waved palm branches and praised Him as their king.

Palm branches became a symbol of honor and victory, which is why many churches around the world still use them during Palm Sunday services today. During these services, people often hold palm leaves while listening to the story of Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem.

Palm Sunday is both a joyful and meaningful day for Christians. While the crowd celebrated Jesus’ arrival, the day also begins the journey toward Good Friday and Easter. Because of this, it reminds believers not only of celebration but also of sacrifice and faith.

For many people, Palm Sunday is a time to reflect on their beliefs and prepare spiritually for Easter. It encourages Christians to remember the message of humility, hope, and love that is central to their faith.

Catholics worldwide observe the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord on March 25, commemorating the moment the angel Gabriel announced to the Virgin Mary that she would conceive Jesus Christ.

The feast highlights Mary’s “yes” to God, marking the beginning of the Incarnation and a key moment in Christian faith.

On this 4th Sunday of Lent, March 22, 2026, we are gently reminded that even in the midst of our journeys and struggles, there is always hope waiting ahead.

‎This day, often called Laetare Sunday, invites us to pause, rejoice, and reflect on God’s endless mercy and love.

‎It is a moment to lighten our hearts, knowing that we are already halfway through our Lenten journey, drawing closer to renewal and grace.

‎May this day inspire us to continue walking in faith, embracing forgiveness, compassion, and gratitude.

‎As we move forward, let us carry with us a renewed spirit—one that chooses kindness, strengthens our connection with God, and becomes a source of light to others.

‎Indeed, in every step we take, there is joy in knowing that brighter days are coming.

Level 1 Complete — a milestone of growth and leadership! ✨💙

Our dedicated Marians and student leaders — Jim Christian Guhiting, Princess Beverly Olaer, Mary Valerie Lusdoc, Jasmin Airah Guhiting, and John Kevin Anoba — have successfully completed the Ladderized Peer Education Training (LPET) Level 1: Open Space for LGU Guindulman.

Held over a meaningful 3-day journey at Golden Prince Hotel & Suites, the training provided valuable experiences in learning, leadership, and empowerment. This milestone marks not just the end of a training, but the beginning of a deeper commitment to service and positive influence in the community.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Guindulman MSWDO, headed by Social Worker Ruben Boy Banting, for making this opportunity possible and for their continued support in nurturing young leaders.

May this achievement strengthen their voices, ignite their passion for service, and inspire them to become catalysts of positive change. 💙

GUINDULMAN, Bohol— March 11, students from Grade 7 St. Raphael visited this morning the Bureau of Fire Protection – Guindulman Fire Station as part of the station’s Open House Visit, held in line with the agency’s Community Relations Week and the observance of Fire Prevention Awareness Month.

During the visit, the students were welcomed by SFO2 Beronilla, along with the other fire officers, who introduced them to the important roles and responsibilities of fire personnel in keeping the community safe. The learners were given a tour of the fire station, where they saw firefighting equipment, emergency vehicles, and safety tools used during rescue operations.

Fire officers also shared important reminders on fire safety and prevention, encouraging the students to practice responsible habits at home and in school. The activity aimed to raise awareness among young learners about the importance of fire prevention and emergency preparedness.

The visit was both educational and exciting for the students, as it allowed them to learn firsthand from the firefighters who serve and protect the community.
