(Legazpi City, August 27, 2025) Planong ipatupad sa susunod na taon ang Php 100.00 na dagdag sahod para sa mga nurses na nagtatrabaho sa mga hospital na nasa ilalim ng pamamahala ng Pamahalaang Lokal ng Albay.

Ito ang kinumpirma ni Albay Governor Noel Ebriega Rosal matapos ang isinigawang budget forum nitong linggo kung saan tinalakay niya ang ilang priority programs na nangangailangan ng sapat na pondo ngayong taon.

Ayon sa gobernador, matagal na niyang isinusulong ang nasabing umento sa sahod dahil napapanahon na aniya para bigyan ng nararapat na suporta ang mga healthcare workers lalo na ang mga nasa pambulikong health facility.

Sakop ng naturang dagdag sa arawang sweldo ang mga casual at job order na mga nurses ng walong PGA-managed hospitals.

Pagbibigay-diin ni Rosal, bagamat mayroong additional benefits ang mga casual employees, hindi pa rin ito nagiging sapat para masustentohan ang pang-araw-araw nilang pangangailangan.

Isa aniya sa mga nais niyang matutukan ay ang pagsasaayos na benepisyo para sa mga frontline workers ng kapitolyo.

Sa kasalukuyan ay naglalaro sa Php 700.00 ang arawang sahod ng mga JO nurses, at Php 750.00 naman para sa mga casual nurses.

NEWS UPDATE: Pinamamadali na ni Brgy Ilawod , Camalig Albay Punong Barangay Edsel Garcia ang Contructor na nasa likod ng bumigay na steel bridge kahapon sa nasabi ng brgy.

Ayon kay Garcia, Hi-Tone Construction and Development Corporation ang Contructor umano ang nasa likod ng bumigay na steel bridge at binigyan ng isang araw lamang upang maayos ang nasira ng tulay.

Ang naturang tulay ay tanging madadaanan lamang ng mga residente sa nasabi ng Brgy. patungo sa centro ng bayan ng Camalig.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | DZGB News, in coordination with Barangay Captain Vicente Baliat of Masarawag, Guinobatan, Albay, conducted a joint inspection within a five-kilometer radius at the foot of the Mayon Volcano. The operation aimed to determine the reasons behind the repeated occurrences of flash floods in several areas of Masarawag, particularly in Purok 4, 5, 6, and 8.

During the inspection, the team discovered a deep gully at the volcano's base, identified as the primary source of floodwater during heavy rains.

The strong rush of water from this gully triggers landslides along the mountainsides. Fallen coconut trees and other debris block natural waterways. This obstruction causes the floodwaters to branch out into multiple channels across the upper areas of Masarawag.

By the time the flood reaches the center of the barangay, it has already gathered soil from landslides, rocks, and uprooted trees—transforming into a highly destructive force that devastates the community.
