The same people that did you wrong are telling a different version of the story and they're playing the victim, which can be incredibly frustrating and invalidating. It's like they're trying to rewrite history and shift the blame onto you.

This phenomenon is often referred to as "gaslighting," where the perpetrator tries to manipulate the narrative and make the victim doubt their own perceptions or sanity. It's a classic tactic used by manipulators and abusers to avoid accountability and maintain control.

But here's the thing: you know the truth. You know what really happened, and you know how their actions affected you. Don't let their lies and distortions make you question your own reality.

Remember that you don't have to engage with their false narrative. You don't have to justify or explain yourself to them. You can simply stand in your truth and assert your own version of events.

And if they're playing the victim, that's a clear indication that they're not taking responsibility for their actions. They're trying to deflect attention away from their own wrongdoing and onto you.

Don't fall for it. Stay strong, stay confident, and stay true to yourself. You deserve to be heard, believed, and respected.
