If we are to please Christ, there is no other option--- we are commanded to love. Unconditional, grace-giving love must be our commitment, standard and model every day if we want our children to know the Lord and commit their lives to Him. None of us is perfectly mature or strong in these areas; I have felt disqualified in this role as Andy's mom many times when I became angry (well, all the time 😅🥹) irritated or said unkind words.
But the ideal I get back to is to ask forgiveness, give grace, and verbalize love. As we strive towards and practice God's ideals, our children will be given a foundation of emotional security.

The reverse is also true. If we harbor bitterness toward others, if we are regularly critical of people and do not forgive those who have offended us, we are leaving our children a wrong image of God, for we are their picture of His love and loving kindness. Our words might say, " love one another", but our actions may not. While many areas factor into rebellion, some children rebel because of hypocrisy in their home, where critical, pharisaical attitudes were the norm, rather than love--- and it produced children who did not know God because the reality of His love was not the predominant character quality they witnessed.

Living together at home offers multiple opportunities on a daily basis for us to practice forgiveness!
Perhaps we need to be reminded so often of our own need for God's forgiveness.

I once asked a successful woman her secret of living a beautiful life.
She smiled and said to me..
"I started succeeding when I started leaving small fights for small fighters.
I stopped fighting those who gossiped about me..
I stopped fighting for attention...
I stopped fighting to meet peoples expectation of me...
I stopped fighting for my rights with inconsiderate people...
I stopped fighting to please people and start pleasing God.
I stopped fighting to prove they were wrong about me. Instead I let them feel bad about me like I am the best villain of all time.
I left such fights for those who have nothing else to fight"

That woman is me, and I started fighting for my vision, my dreams, my ideas and most of all my faith.
The day I gave up on small fights is the day I started becoming super blessed , successful and so much more content.
Some fights are not worth your time.. God knows where your real fight is.
God will fight with you, you will never fail. ☝🏽✝️

"Mommy-gay" nIlagyan ko ito ng note kasi ihahatid ko ito sa simbahan ngayon kasi nagassite pa siya 😁😁😁

Tuwing umuuwi si Andy sa tanghali ito ang lagi kong tanong "Kamusta School? Namigay ka ng baon?"
Isang araw ganito ang sagot niya "Hindi, nagagalit nga sakin si at tyaka si.. kasi hindi daw ako namimigay damot na damot ko daw, ay alangan gutom kasi ako, sakto lang sakin yong baon ko" 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Akala ko kasi madami yon para sa kanya, akala ko kasi medyo busog siya kasi kung anong baon niya yun din yung breakfast niya may choco na gatas pa yon, akala ko kasi madami at kasya na para makapamigay siya kaso ay hindi pa pala 😅😁

Kaya nitong mga nakaraan dinadamihan ko na talaga, gusto ko kasing ituro sa Anak ko na parating mamigay, hindi sa specific na tao lang depende o sa estado ng buhay kundi mamigay sa nanghihingi may pera man o wala. Alam ko na hindi ganoon ka-positibong paguugali ang panghihingi, hindi din naman ganoon ka-negatibo, ito naman ay nababago pa. Ang gusto ko lang ay makapag-create ng bonding ang anak ko sa kapwa niya mga bata dahil likas sa bata ang madamot, palahingi at iba pang pangit na paguugali na hindi pa minsan ganoon ka-aware ang isang bata, kaya nga tayo ay magulang para hubugin ang mga batang ito na magkaroon ng wastong pangunawa ang mga bata sa mga tama at mali.

Ilang ulit na sinabi sa Bibliya na palaging maging bukas palad, sinabi din sa Bibiliya na pag humingi ka bibigyan ka, ang pagpapala ng Diyos ay pinadadaloy at dapat yoong itinuturo sa mga anak, hindi lahat ng bata may Nanay na tuwang tuwang magluto kagaya ko, hindi kasi ako busy pag umaga, pangalawa maaga talaga akong nagigising kaya masayaa akong nagawa ng baon niya, at higit sa lahat hindi lahat may sapat na budget.

Kung papabayaan ko na hindi siya marunong mamigay, lalaking madamot si Andy, at ayoko yon. Hindi ko nga tinuturuan na gumanti pag inaaway maging madamot pa kaya 😁😁

Pero laging tatandaan ang bata ay bata, hindi lahat ng tinuturo natin sa ngayon ay effective agad, makikita natin na mga magulang ang mga turo natin sa anak natin habang lumalaki sila at nagkakaisip na ❤️
