Midnight thoughts.

I think it's nice to accept the fact that there will always be somebody else better than us. Someone more beautiful, smarter, kinder, and more capable of giving the love we want to give, or someone who has a better chance to love the person we love. There will always be someone else. And that is okay; that's just how life goes.

But at the same time, this doesn't mean that we should downplay ourselves or hate ourselves because there's somebody else better than us. We are uniquely beautiful with flaws, mistakes, and hope for growth. A person who keeps on evolving for the better will always be a catch. It just takes the right person to see it, appreciate it, love it, and keep it. And that right person wouldn't see anybody better than you, for in their eyes, your existence would be the best thing to happen to them.

Along with accepting that there will always be someone better than us, I also hope we can find someone who sees the best in us.
