It All Starts in Faith
Everything I’ve seen in my walk with God—every answered prayer, every healing, every open door, every restored hope—did not begin with sight, nor with strength, nor with understanding. It all started in faith.
Faith is that quiet whisper in the heart that says, “Even if I don’t see it, God can still do it. Even if I don’t feel it, He is still working. Even if I don’t understand, His plan is still good.”
It’s not faith in myself, because I know how fragile and weak I can be. It’s not faith in people, because I’ve seen how even the most well-meaning can fail. It’s faith in the One who never changes, whose Word is forever settled in heaven.
When Abraham was called, he didn’t know the land, he didn’t know the details—he just obeyed because he believed. When Moses stretched his rod at the Red Sea, he didn’t know how the waters would part—he just trusted the God who promised deliverance. When Peter stepped out of the boat, he didn’t calculate the waves or the wind—he simply fixed his eyes on Jesus.
Faith is where it all begins. Faith leads me to pray when I feel like giving up. Faith makes me wait when my heart wants to rush. Faith helps me surrender when my will wants to fight.
And when faith takes root, hope grows, peace flows, and love becomes stronger.
So today, I remind myself: no matter what tomorrow brings, no matter what doors close or what storms rise—it all starts in faith. For without faith, I cannot please Him (Hebrews 11:6). But with faith, even the impossible bends at the feet of a God who can do all things.
