Ang buhay talaga, parang isang malaking contradiction. We are told to plan for the future as if we will live forever, pero at the same time, enjoy each day as if it were our last!

Kaya habang bata pa, mag-aral, magtrabaho, mag-ipon, mag-invest, at magplano para sa retirement. Pero huwag namang puro future ang iniisip. Baka sa sobrang paghahanda mo para sa magandang buhay pagdating ng 60, nakalimutan mong maging masaya noong 20, 30, 40, at 50 ka pa!

Imagine, buong buhay kang nagtitipid para makapag-travel around the world pag-retire mo. Kaso noong may pera at oras ka na, ayaw nang sumakay sa eroplano ng mga tuhod mo! ๐Ÿ˜‚

But seriously, life is both a long-term project and a daily experience. We need ambition to give us direction, but we also need contentment to appreciate where we are today.

Magplano para sa kinabukasan, pero huwag ipagpaliban ang kaligayahan. Mag-ipon para sa bukas, pero huwag kalimutang mag-enjoy ngayon. Work hard, but find time to laugh, love, travel, eat your favorite food, and appreciate the ordinary moments of being alive.

After all, the future is never guaranteed, and the present is the only moment we truly possess.
