#𝗕𝗘𝗱𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘄𝗤𝘂𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗺𝗮 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗮𝘆𝘀: 𝗜 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗱, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗶𝘁. 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲.

Fritz Arkley Alidon, Humanities and Social Sciences student and the Batch Top Honoree, delivered a powerful message during the 9th Senior High School Commencement Exercises held last March 31, 2026. He redefined success beyond recognition and awards. Alidon emphasized that graduation is not just a celebration of achievements, but a testament to resilience, growth, and the journey every student has endured.

Highlighting that the real journey begins beyond the ceremony, Alidon encouraged fellow graduates to embrace life at their own pace, trust in God, and remain grounded in their values. Echoing the words of Nelson Mandela, he reminded the batch that what once seemed impossible has now been achieved, not just in accomplishments, but in who they have become.

Concluding with gratitude and faith, Alidon left a lasting message: to stay true to who you are, to step forward with confidence, and to remember that your story is far greater than any award.

With the conclusion of the 9th Senior High School Commencement Exercises, we honor the G12 graduating members of BEdlisiw who worked behind every story told and every moment captured. From writing to photojournalism to broadcasting and creative work, they carried the responsibility of informing, creating, and giving voice to what truly matters.

As they move on to the next chapter, they bring with them the lessons, experiences, and growth that shaped them not only as storytellers, but as individuals. While they may be stepping away, the impact of their work will continue to live on in the stories that follow.

Grade 6 graduate Carlos Mordeno delivered a heartfelt speech of gratitude during the 77th Commencement Exercises of the Grade School and Junior ahigh School of St. Michael’s College of Iligan, Inc. - Basic Education Department (SMCII-BEd) recognizing the unwavering support of parents, teachers, administrators, RVM Sisters, and his classmates. Mordeno emphasized that while achievements are celebrated in diplomas and certificates, they are also a testament to the people who guided, encouraged, and believed in the graduates along the way.

Encouraging his peers to cherish the lessons learned and the friendships forged, Mordeno inspired the batch to step forward into the future with hearts full of gratitude, ready to face new challenges and make everyone proud.

Grade 10 completer Atiyah Ates, delivered a heartfelt welcome address during the 77th Commencement Exercises of the Grade School and Junior High School of St. Michael’s College of Iligan, Inc. - Basic Education Department (SMCII-BEd) emphasizing gratitude, faith, and growth. Ates reminded fellow students that education extends beyond academics, shaping values, strengthening faith, and preparing everyone to serve others with love and humility.

St. Michael’s College of Iligan, Inc. — Basic Education Department held its 77th Commencement Exercises for graduating students and a Moving-Up Ceremony on March 31, 2026 with the theme: “Ignacian Marians: Journeying in Grace, Continuing Legacy as Pilgrims of Hope.” The event recognized both graduates and moving-up students for their achievements. The school encouraged them to carry faith, excellence, and service as they begin a new chapter of their journey. With the support of parents, faculty, and the Michaelite community, the occasion highlighted not only academic milestones but also the values of a michaelite that the students carry forward into their continuing lives.

Before the school year officially graces to its end, BEdlisiw, the official school publication of St. Michael’s College of Iligan, Inc. - Basic Education Department, proudly presents its Editorial Board and Staff for Academic Year 2025-2026—the faces behind the bolder and stronger BEdlisiw.

For what may seemed like simple posts and publications is actually the result of a year filled with hardwork, intention, and growth. 𝘉𝘦𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘍𝘢𝘤𝘢𝘥𝘦 is a team that didn’t just carry on a legacy, but chose to reshape it.

Throughout the school year, BEdlisiw became more active, united, and more driven by purpose. Standards were raised, identities were formed and every visual and story was carefully crafted to reflect both quality and a clearer voice.

More than just creating content, this board embraced the responsibility of journalism: to inform, to represent, and to speak on issues that matter. As writers, photojournalists, broadcasters, and creatives, they chose their platforms to stand for truth and for the student body that they serve.

The Senior High School Department of St. Michael’s College of Iligan Incorporated has officially been granted Level I Accreditation by the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU), valid for an initial period of three years until February 2029.

This recognition affirms the department’s commitment to academic excellence, quality instruction, and continuous improvement in delivering transformative education to Michaelites. As the institution moves forward, this achievement serves as a strong foundation for further growth, ensuring that Michaelites continue to receive education that is both relevant and globally competitive.

Your ability to remain committed to both faith faith and responsibilities in school reflects a strength and dedication that truly inspires our entire community.
