𝐂𝐂𝐒 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐠 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔: 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠

The Ceremonial Signing for CCS Pasundayag has officially concluded, marking a significant milestone as one of the largest events of the College of Computer Studies.

Key agendas were discussed and approved during the signing, including team compositions, event flow, and the signing of the 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀. CCS Pasundayag 2026 was confirmed as an event of the College of Computer Studies, with participating departments represented through three themed teams following the overall concept 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝘀: 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗹𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰. This ceremonial signing marks the first of its kind for Pasundayag and signifies a major initiative of the college aimed at strengthening unity, participation, and collaboration among departments.

On December 13, 2025, from 6:00 PM onwards, at the KASAMA Office, the Kataastaasang Sanggunian ng mga Mag-aaral (KASAMA) convened for the initial reading and discussion of the PALAKASAN 2026 Overall General Guidelines, marking a crucial step in the early stages of planning for the university-wide event.

The meeting served as a platform for student leaders to critically examine and reflect on the reimagined direction of PALAKASAN 2026, which highlights camaraderie and friendly competition among colleges while embedding sustainability, inclusivity, transparency, and integrity as its guiding principles. Discussions emphasized PALAKASAN’s role not only as a sports festival but also as a venue for promoting holistic well-being, unity, and the distinct IITian brand of excellence and community engagement.

Present during the meeting were the KASAMA President and Vice President, College Student Council Governors, Executive and Legislative Secretaries, Cabinet Secretaries, the Student Ombudsperson, Senators, as well as the CVG Chairperson and COO Chairperson, ensuring comprehensive representation and participatory governance.

This initiative underscores KASAMA’s commitment to collaborative leadership and transparent institutional processes, reaffirming its dedication to delivering an inclusive, values-driven, and well-coordinated PALAKASAN 2026 that upholds fairness and strengthens solidarity across the IITian community.

Pursuant to the provisions of the KASAMA Constitution and By-Laws, the CCS Student Council issues Executive Order No. 007, s. 2025–2026, designating Mx. Gift Alexander S. Puyos as Officer-in-Charge of the Budget and Finance Committee from 2–5 December 2025. This temporary designation ensures continuity of committee operations while Board Member Febby Ann C. Burlado represents MSU-IIT as a finalist in the Philippine Startup Challenge X (PSC X). Their approved travel order is likewise attached to the EO.

MSU-IIT's College of Computer Studies (CCS) delivered an outstanding performance at the 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 (𝗥𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗘 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱), hosted by PSITE Northern Mindanao at Misamis University, Ozamiz City. Three BSCA (Bachelor of Science in Computer Applications student teams represented the Institute in the Poster Presentation category and achieved a remarkable sweep—earning 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲, 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗸 among 11 regional entries. Their projects featured innovations in agritech, 𝗜𝗼𝗧-𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀, and 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀, highlighting the technical excellence and real-world impact of CCS students.

The Office of the University Chancellor announces the official conduct of the Online Teacher Efficiency Rating (OLTER) for the First Semester of AY 2025–2026. All faculty members and students of the university are requested to participate in the evaluation process within the specified period November 25 to December 11, 2025.

𝐂𝐂𝐒-𝐒𝐂 𝟒𝐓𝐇 𝐂𝐎𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐄 𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐈𝐒𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐁𝐎𝐃𝐘 𝐌𝐄𝐄𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 (𝐀.𝐘. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓–𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔)

The College of Computer Studies — Student Council Legislative Body (CCS-SC LB) held its 4th session to address multiple agenda items which included the partnership of Kadakareer for career development initiatives. The implementation of the National Reading Month (NRM) was refined through detailed logistics, formal documentation and the addition of an ANNEX for program flow, which included clarifications on fund withdrawal procedures. The GAAP and Pagtubod fund withdrawals were also approved with required budget ANNEXES and clauses. The agreement with Printhub as the official merchandise supplier for CCS was likewise affirmed. The meeting concluded with the majority of the resolutions approved, reflecting the CCS-SC LB’s continued commitment to organized operations and student-centered initiatives.
