Daghan gyud buyers na super excited makuha ang ilang gireserved na puppies, usahay ang reason kay aron matunong sa special na occassion or as simple as mao lang ang ilang available na date pod. Wla may problema ani and totally understandable sya. Pero as responsible breeder unahon gyud nato ang welfare sa atong litter above anything else, not our convenience or ang demands sa buyer. A responsible breeder should always know better, pwede ra gyud eexplain kay buyer ang reason and makasabot ra gyud na sila.

What really makes a stud dog a good one? 🤔

It’s about more than just a pretty face! I want to share what I've learned firsthand from our own foundation stud, Brettly.

It's easy to look at a dog and see "quality", great fur, a perfect snout, the way they walk. But the real test is whether they can pass those traits on. The dam (mom) always contributes 50% of the DNA, so a good-looking stud is never a guarantee.

The proof only comes after seeing the offspring. In breeding, this is called prepotency, a stud's dominant ability to stamp his "look" on his puppies, litter after litter.

And Brettly? He's the perfect example. Just look at our boy Brettly (pic 1). Then, one of his "customers" (lol) in pic 2. And finally, one of their puppies in pic 3!

See the resemblance? This is exactly why he's our foundation. Time and time again, no matter the dam, Brettly's best qualities shine through. That’s how you know you have a great stud!
