With species like Api api, Bakauan Babae, Bakauan Lalaki, and Pagatpat taking root, these mangroves have become a sanctuary for a myriad of marine life, safeguarding our coastlines and nurturing aquatic ecosystems. 🐟🌿

This achievement stands as a powerful reminder of what can be accomplished when a community comes together with a shared vision. 🌏💚 We owe this success to the dedication of the LGU, local volunteers, DENR PENRO Capiz and environmental champions who have poured their hearts into this endeavor.

I'm thrilled to share that the DENR NGP People's Organization -San Jose Reforestation Management Association (SJRMA) in Brgy. San Jose, Lemery, Iloilo has come up with an amazing creation - Locally made Polvoron made from Bamboo Shoots sourced from the NGP Bamboo Plantation!

This innovative treat not only tastes delicious but also promotes sustainable practices and supports our local community. Kudos to SJRMA for their dedication to conservation and creativity! 🙌🏼 Let's all take a bite towards a greener future! 🌿💚 "

Remarkable environmental achievement in Banate, Iloilo!

The CY 2020 DENR National Greening Program (NGP) Bamboo Plantation is flourishing in Brgy. Managopaya, Banate, covering an expansive 50 hectares of lush greenery. 🌳🍃

This magnificent project is made possible through the dedicated efforts of Cañapasan Banate Irrigators Association Inc. (CBIAI), expertly chaired by the exceptional Gina Baxinela and DENR CENRO Sara . 🌟 Their unwavering commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable development is truly inspiring!

The NGP Bamboo Plantation is a significant step towards a greener, healthier future for our community. 🌏🌿 Bamboo is not only an essential part of our ecosystem, but it also holds immense potential for a wide range of sustainable applications. 🏡💼
