She asked her, "How much are you selling the Saba?"

The old seller replied, 3 pesos per banana, Madam.

She said to her, "I'll take 6 bananas for one peso each or I will leave."

The old seller replied, "Come take them at the price you want. Maybe this is a good beginning because I haven't been able to sell even a single banana today."

She tooked the bananas and walked away feeling she won. She got into her fancy car and went to a 1st class restaurant with her friend, ordered whatever they liked. They ate a little and left a lot of what they ordered. Then she went to pay the bill, costing P2,200.00. She gave P2,500.00 and told the owner to keep the change.

This incident might have seemed quite normal to the owner of the restaurant to keep the change.

The point is,
Why do we always show we have the power to bargain when we buy from the needy ones? And why do we get generous to those who do not even need our generosity?

In a relationship there are always 3 phases or stages.

The first is where everything is happiness, everything is nice words, there are no problems and everything is going well.
The second is when you start to know the imperfections of the person, meaningless fights start, (this stage is the most difficult since they are not always willing to fix things and that is why they quit).
And finally, the third is the most beautiful; when you really fall in love, and you see their perfect imperfections, when they know how to fix problems without the need for yelling or hurtful words, when you really learn to love.

King of Battle Opens Candidate Soldiers’ Training

The Army Artillery Regiment (AAR) formally opened the Candidate Soldier Course Class 749-22 and Class 750-22 for the four-month military training of 400 strong Candidate Soldiers (CS) at Fort Magsaysay, Palayan City, Nueva Ecija on June 28, 2022 graced by BGEN FERNANDO M REYEG PA, Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff for Education, Training and Doctrine, OJ8, AFP as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.

With the aim of recruiting the best among the candidates, AAR has conducted series of examinations in order to test the physical strength, mental ability and emotional stability of the applicants.

Among the 400 Candidate Soldiers, one hundred thirty-one (131) are degree holders, twenty-eight (28) are PRC Licensed, nine (9) are Vocational Course graduate, one hundred sixty-five (165) are K-12 graduates, one (1) graduate of Alternative Learning System (ALS) and ninety-four (94) are undergraduates.

During the program, BGEN FERNANDO M REYEG, emphasized in his message the word potential, “..as you will experience rigorous training that will probably make you curse all the time but will make you strong in character and spirit as days go by”, he said. In ending, BGEN REYEG shared some lines of the Military Professionalism that will remind them the life they are going to experience.

Also, the Guest of Honor and Speaker was conferred with a King of Battle Tab-Honorary and was presented with Command’s memento and token as an appreciation for his time and efforts in gracing the ceremony and for the support he accorded to the command in accomplishing its mission in his various capacities.
