Today, we successfully conducted our 2nd Quarter Battalion Conference.

Key discussions included preparations for the upcoming election deployment, where we gathered valuable feedback, concerns, and suggestions from our company commanders to ensure a smooth and effective operation.

We also reviewed the status of our Active Duty Training (ADT), addressing necessary removals, changes, and updates. Additionally, we agreed to retain all NCOs currently serving under battalion leadership, recognizing their vital role in maintaining unit stability and readiness.

Lastly, we planned our upcoming in-house training programs and laid the groundwork for creating a selection body to further strengthen our battalion’s future operations.

Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to today’s productive session.

Together, we move forward stronger and better .

• HAIKUI is forecast to continuously intensify within the next 5 days. It is forecast to become a typhoon within the PAR region and may reach its peak intensity on Friday evening as it moves outside PAR.
• The current forecast scenario suggests that HAIKUI is less likely to directly affect the country. However, it may enhance the Southwest Monsoon beginning tomorrow or Thursday. This may result in the continuation of occasional or monsoon rains over the western portion of Luzon and Visayas throughout this week.

Considering these developments, the public and disaster risk reduction and management offices concerned are advised to continue monitoring for updates related to this tropical cyclone.

Unless an intermediate advisory or initial tropical cyclone bulletin is released, the next tropical cyclone advisory will be issued at 11:00 PM today.

The Public and the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management council concerned are advice to monitor the weather condition and watch for the next advisory to be issued.
