As part of our proactive response both to the Pastoral Letter of Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines and the Circular Letter of Archbishop Midyphil Billones to the “floods of corruption”, we invite everyone to the TRILLION PESO MARCH: A march rally and concert against corruption on September 21, 2025 at 3PM from Jaro Plaza and UPV Iloilo City to the Capitol Grounds

We enjoin everyone to wear WHITE shirt, bring your banners or placards denouncing corruption!

Let us heed with courage,"Be vigilant and vocal, demand justice and not impunity, Reject patronage politics, Lead by example in the Church by living modestly and resisting excess!" "

In accordance with the prescription of Holy Mother Church, we make known to the faithful that:

Seminarian Jan Philip Mones Gumban, a candidate from the Parish of Sta. Monica, Pavia, Iloilo is to be raised to the Sacred Order of Deacons by the laying on of hands and the invocation of the Holy Spirit by Most Reverend Midyphil B. Billones, DD., Archbishop of Jaro on October 2, 2025 at Jaro Metropolitan Catedral, Jaro, Iloilo City.

If anyone known of any canonical impediments or other just cause why this candidate should not be ordained, let it be made known to the Parish Priest or Diocesan Chancery as soon as possible.

Let us all pray for this candidate that he may be found worthy of the ministry and be strengthened by the grace of God to serve faithfully in the Church.

With hearts full of gratitude and devotion, we joyfully celebrated the Feast of St. Monica here at Pavia Parish!

The celebration began with a solemn procession, a beautiful expression of our faith and unity as a community. This was followed by a Concelebrated Mass at 9:00 AM, graced by the presence of 51 priests, joining us in honoring our beloved patroness.

Thank you to everyone who became part of this meaningful celebration — may St. Monica continue to intercede for our families and lead us closer to Christ. 🙏💐
