𝙋𝙤𝙩𝙤𝙩𝙖𝙣 𝙎𝙪𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙋𝙖𝙖𝙜𝙞 𝙨𝙖 𝙀𝙙𝙪𝙠𝙖𝙨𝙮𝙤𝙣 (𝙋𝙎𝙋𝙀) 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙖𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢

The Local Government of Pototan, through the Pototan Suportahan Paagi sa Edukasyon (PSPE), is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the PSPE Scholarship Program. This program is open to officially enrolled Grade 7, Grade 11, and First Year College students who meet the required qualifications.

𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:
1. Must be a Filipino Citizen and a bonafide resident of this Municipality for more than three (3) years upon arrival of the Grant
2. Must be a person of good moral standing
3. Must be officially enrolled at any public or private schools within the Province of Iloilo
4. Must attain a General Average of 85%
5. Must not be a recipient of any grant or scholarship coming from government sources or non-government organization, foreign or local based
6. Must not incur more than 5 absences in his/her study except for valid reasons
7. Family gross income must be:
a) Php 35,000.00 for a family of 2 dependents annually
b) Php 40,000.00 for a family of 3 or more dependents

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
1. Duly accomplished application form
2. Certificate of residency
3. Proof of enrollment for the current school year
4. Photocopy of report card of the previous year
5. Certificate of good moral character from the school
6. Latest income tax return of a parent or sibling

𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬:
Applicants are required to submit their accomplished application form along with all required documents to their respective schools, or directly to the 𝙈𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙋𝙤𝙩𝙤𝙩𝙖𝙣 – 𝙋𝙀𝙎𝙊 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚, 2𝙣𝙙 𝙁𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙧, 𝙋𝙤𝙩𝙤𝙩𝙖𝙣 𝙏𝙤𝙬𝙣 𝙃𝙖𝙡𝙡, within the submission period.

OPLAN DISCIPLINE ZONE

Attention, Pototanons and all members of our community,

As part of our efforts to promote road safety and discipline, we are about to implement the "Oplan Discipline Zone" initiative here in Pototan. Recently, we have observed a concerning rise in road accidents, especially involving motorcycle riders. Our goal is to reduce these incidents and ensure that all roads in Pototan are safer for everyone.

To achieve this, we will conduct on-the-spot road awareness lectures for those who are apprehended for violations. We are urging everyone to cooperate and diligently follow traffic rules and regulations.

As part of this campaign, we encourage motorcycle riders to start wearing their helmets consistently and to ensure that their vehicles meet all administrative requirements—such as proper side mirrors, valid license plates, and sound mufflers—especially those that are highly visible to the public and contribute to road accidents.

Together, we can make Pototan a model of discipline and safe driving. Let’s work hand in hand to make our roads safer for all residents and visitors. Your cooperation is essential in making Pototan a truly Discipline Zone.

All motorcycle riders, including drivers and back riders, shall at all times wear standard protective motorcycle helmets while driving, whether long or short drives, in any type of road and highway.

Sa bawat watawat na iwinawagayway at sa bawat pusong Pilipino na patuloy na lumalaban para sa katarungan, kapayapaan, at kaunlaran, naipapakita natin ang tunay na diwa ng kalayaan.

Bilang kabataang Pilipino, tungkulin nating ipagpatuloy ang kanilang sinimulan maging boses ng katotohanan, tagapagtaguyod ng karapatan, at instrumento ng positibong pagbabago. Huwag tayong magsawang magmahal sa bayan sa salita, sa gawa, at sa paninindigan.
