JUST IN | FORMER COUN. CANDICE TUPAS, INDI MAGPADALAGAN BILANG KONSEHAL SA MASUNOD NGA ELEKSYON
Sa Facebook post ni former Iloilo City councilor Dr Candice Magdalane Tupas, nagpasalamat ini kay mayor Raisa Treñas kag sa nagabug-os sa Team Uswag sa pagkonsiderar sa iya bilang kandidato sa masunod nga eleksyon.
Apang ginsiling sini nga ginbalibaran niya ang gintanyag sang grupo bangud luyag sini magtutok sa iya mga responsibilidad bilang iloy, asawa, kag doktor, kag bilang Exec. Asst. for Medical Tourism ni mayor Treñas kag Regional Consultant ni Sen. Bam Aquino.
Gindugang ni Dr Tupas nga sa siyam kag tunga ka tuig sini nga pagpangalagad, madamo-damo naman ini sang nahimo para sa syudad kag sa mga Ilonggo.
Para kay Dr Tupas, indi pa man ini “goodbye” na sa elective office kundi isa lang ka “see you later”.
Matandaan nga sang damlag lang, ginpresentar ni mayor Raisa Treñas ang pila ka personalidad nga mahimo magabug-os sang linyada sang Team Uswag sa 2028 elections kag nalakip diri si former councilor Candice Tupas.

Yari ang kabug-usan nga post ni former councilor Candice Magdalane Tupas:
“There will be a good number of people running for Iloilo City Councilor in the 2028 elections and I will not be one of those.
I thank Mayor Raisa Treñas and Team RISE USWAG for considering me to be part of their 2028 line up for the mentioned position but I politely declined. I informed Mayor Raisa of my decision early last month.
I have already served for 9 years and a half as Iloilo City Councilor. The extra half of the year is the unexpired term of Lex when he became a presidential appointee during the time of PNoy and I was appointed by PNoy to complete his last term as he was then #1 Iloilo City Councilor. In those over 9 years, I have authored a good number of legislative measures primarily focused on health and wellness, tourism, trade and industry, labor and communications for the general welfare of the Ilonggos. We have also initiated a number of innovate annual special programs and I have made firm stands on certain issues that affect Iloilo City. Naubra ta na ang gusto ta maubra para sa posisyon nga ina nga ginsalig sa aton sang pumuluyo sang Iloilo kag sa grasya sang Diyos. For 2028, there is a lot of good material for the Iloilo City Council that Ilonggos will choose from.
For now, I will focus on my roles as a devoted and nurturing mother to our 4 kids who we consider as our God's Gifts, as a supportive and loving wife to Lex, as a practicing Physician/Radiologist, as Lead of Medical Tourism of Mayor Raisa Treñas and as the Regional Consultant of Sen. Bam Aquino.
This is not a good bye yet to elective office but a see you later. Salamat sa tanan nga gapadayon nga gasuporta sa akun kag kay Lex. Naapresyar gid namun. UGYON kita sa guihapon. LEX do it. We CAN do DICE.”
