Former President Rodrigo Duterte's chartered plane has arrived at Rotterdam Airport in The Hague, Netherlands, according to flightradar24.

Landing at 11:54 p.m. (Manila time), Duterte is expected to be taken into custody by the ICC's Judicial Cooperation Division. He will be transported to the ICC Detention Facility in Scheveningen for a medical check and booking procedure

ILOILO CITY — Today, upon hearing the news of the arrest of former President Rodrigo Duterte, I take a moment not to celebrate, but to reflect with a heart full of gratitude to God — for His justice, His mercy, and His unfailing love.

For years, my family and I have walked through a valley of trials and tears. My beloved wife and children have endured so much, standing beside me with silent strength and courage, despite living in fear for our safety and future. My late mother, who is now with our Creator, carried these pains in her heart. Though she is no longer with us, I know she is at peace in God’s presence, her prayers answered in ways we are only beginning to see.

Throughout these painful years, I was never alone. God’s hand carried me, and I am deeply grateful to Our Lady of Guadalupe, whose powerful intercession has been a source of strength, hope, and protection. She has embraced my family and me in her loving mantle, especially during the darkest nights.

As I look upon this moment in our nation’s history, I offer this prayer — a prayer that has carried me through every storm and continues to give me hope for what is to come:

**Nagbitiw sa Tungkulin Bilang Pulis: "Di Ko Na Kayang Suotin ang Unipormeng Ito Nang May Dangal"**

Ragasa Jr. Ditz, isang pulis na kilala sa kanyang matibay na paninindigan noong administrasyong Duterte, ay nag-resign. Sa isang emosyonal na Facebook post, inilahad niya ang dahilan ng kanyang pagbibitiw, kasabay ng panghihinayang sa kasalukuyang estado ng serbisyo sa ilalim ng administrasyon ni Pangulong Bongbong Marcos.

Ayon kay Ragasa, dati niyang isinusuot ang kanyang uniporme nang may buong pagmamalaki at dangal, dahil alam niyang ang kanyang trabaho ay para sa bayan. Subalit sa paglipas ng panahon, unti-unti niyang naramdaman ang pagbabago mula sa prinsipyo at adhikain tungo sa pulitika at pansariling interes. Aniya, pakiramdam niya’y tila naisantabi na ang mga sakripisyong kanilang ibinigay noon.

Dahil dito, napagdesisyunan niyang tuluyan nang lisanin ang serbisyo. Sa kanyang mensahe, umaasa siya na balang araw, ang mga susunod na henerasyon ay maisusuot ang parehong uniporme nang may tunay na pagmamalaki hindi para sa mga pulitiko, kundi para sa sambayanang Pilipino.

“I used to wear this uniform with so much pride during the Duterte administration. Every day, I carried the badge with dignity, knowing that the work we were doing was for the betterment of our country, for the people. We fought hard, bled, sweated, and sacrificed so much, believing we were part of something bigger, something meaningful.

But now, under the BBM administration, it’s hard to feel the same way. The pride I once had is slowly fading. The ideals we fought for now seem overshadowed by politics, greed, and selfish interests. We’re still out here doing our jobs, but it feels like the cause we once believed in has been lost. The sacrifice we made feels taken for granted, and it’s disheartening to see how we’re being used for someone else’s gain.

I’ve decided it’s time to sign off. I can no longer wear this uniform with the pride and honor it once carried. It’s been an honor to serve, but I can't ignore the reality any longer. I hope that someday, those who come after us will wear it with true pride, not for the politicians, but for the people who deserve better."
