Colegio de las Hijas de Jesus, Inc. resumes the Literary Musical Contests for Level 1 and 2 on October 15, 2025 at the school's gymnasium. It serves as a celebration of talent, creativity, and school spirit. Through music, speech, and dance, each participant showcased their individuality and passion, proving that talent truly thrives within every student.

In the morning, contestants from the different teams of Level 1 competed in various contests, such as Nursery Rhymes Interpretation, English Declamation, Character Impersonation, and Vocal Solo Pop. The event ended with the awarding of winners.

Contestants from the various teams of Level 2 graced the stage as they competed in competitions, such as English and Filipino Declamation, Newscasting (English, Filipino, and Hiligaynon), Vocal Solo Pop, Musical Instrument, and Dance Revo. The event ended with the awarding of certificates, hailing the Blazing Foxes as the overall champion.

Alongside the competitors were the supportive cheers of parents, classmates, and teachers, whose encouragement filled the venue with warmth and unity.

𝘞𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘯 𝘣𝘺 𝘑𝘰𝘢𝘯 𝘙𝘢𝘱𝘩𝘢𝘦𝘭𝘢 𝘛𝘢𝘫𝘢𝘯𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘪𝘵

Embodying a sense of leadership, Therese Martine S. Alfeche of Grade 10 - Gratitude was appointed as the Head of Public Employment Service Office (PESO) of Iloilo City on October 14, 2025 at SM City, Iloilo.

Organized by the Rotary Club of Iloilo City RI District 3850 and in collaboration with the Iloilo City Government and the Department of Education, the event aims to hone young leaders and promote youth leadership.

The activity promptly began with qualifying exams then proceeded with an oral interview, aiming to assess and evaluate each candidate.

After passing the selection process, Alfeche, along with her counterpart, Mr. Gab Umadhay, PESO manager, will begin their duty at the City Hall on October 20-25, 2025.

𝗖𝗛𝗝 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝗴𝘀 4𝘁𝗵 𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝘂𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝗢𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁

Showcasing fluency and purposeful advocacies, Princess Lorraine Camille M. Guartizo of Grade 12 - STEM bags 4th runner up during the 3rd BCBP Oratorical Contest on Octover 15, 2025 at the Robinsions Place Jaro, Iloilo City.

Spearheaded by a non-profit organization of Brotherhood of Christian Businessmen and Professionals Iloilo City Mother Chapter, the event is a part of their chapter anniversary celebration to promote their “BHTD- Be Honest Tapat Dapat” advocacy.

Guartizo competed against 18 contestants from various public and private schools in Iloilo City.

Contestants from the different teams competed in various contests, such as Declamation, Newscasting, Extemporaneous Speaking, Vocal Solo Pop, Vocal Duet, and Musical Instrument. In addition to the excitement and cheer, the long-awaited Dance Revo competition took place as the main highlight of the event. With its bright and energetic spirit, it brings out every team in unity.

Alongside the competitors were the supportive cheers of parents, classmates, and teachers, whose encouragement filled the venue with warmth and unity.

The event ended with the announcement of winners for each competition wherein the Team Golden Eagles were hailed as the overall champion for Level 3 in this year's Intramurals.

𝗖𝗛𝗝 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹𝘀

After suspension of classes due to recent disasters, the Colegio de las Hijas de Jesus, Inc. resumes the second day of Intramurals 2025 on October 13, 2025.

With the theme, "With the heart of St. Candida: Competing with Faith, Serving with love", the school reignites the school spirit by letting students showcase their camaraderie and sportsmanship.

In the morning, contestants from Level 2 and Level 3 for the Academic Challenge competed at the Elementary Projection Room. Then, the championship for the Mobile Legends Tournament, Volleyball Men, Basketball, and Badminton took place at the school's gymnasium.

The afternoon's activities were the Amazing Edu Race and Indoor Games, which took place at the school's grounds.

The event ended with the awarding of winners.

The drill aims to spread awareness about recent earthquake cases and encourage students to demonstrate the correct protocols in the face of these unexpected disasters.

𝘞𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘯 𝘣𝘺 𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘺 𝘌𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘶𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘦 𝘛𝘢𝘫𝘢𝘯𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘪𝘵

Colegio de las Hijas de Jesus, Inc. holds a touching and joy-filled Teachers’ Day celebration on October 6, 2025 at the school gymnasium, honoring the dedication, sacrifice, and love of its educators through performances, speeches, and genuine expressions of gratitude from the student body.

Spearheaded by the Student Council and Pupil Government (SC-PG), the gymnasium was transformed into a festive haven, adorned with flowers, banners, and personalized thank-you cards. A short parade was organized wherein the school's teachers, staffs, and maintenance personnel sauntered, eliciting cheers from the students.

Furthermore, a tribute video, prepared by the Flame Publication, was showcased, highlighting various messages from the school's alumni. The students also prepared games for the teachers.

The event ended as students gave gifts and greetings to their teachers, showing their appreciation and love.
