📝Book Review📝

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The plot is very Freida McFadden. I so love Freida♥️ Fast paced yet twisty, and full of “wait, what just happened?😱” moments. She really knows how to make you keep turning the pages even when you think you’ve figured it out.

I still love the first book though.

The plotwist, I kinda expected it, but at the same time, I didn’t really know what it was going to be (if that makes sense 😅). Like I felt it coming, but it still surprised me anyway.

Sidenote: I’m baaackkkk🥹 Been so MIA lately. My husband’s home for vacation, and I’ve been soaking up every moment with him. After months of being apart, it just feels so good to slow down, catch up, and enjoy the simple things together. I know my books can wait😊

You cannot really measure happiness. Some would just be surface level. Imperfect as we are, we humans are never contented. Once you reach your threshold, still, you will feel empty. ( me to my kpop merch🤣)

I think true happiness doesn’t just depend on you reaching your goals. Feeling ko maski ma reach mo na tuod goal mo pero indi pa right time, indi ka japun ma happy. So right place right time lang gd ang atake😊

I think every era of our lives, we have different versions of happiness.

My version of happiness in my era right now is : “spending the day with my husband doing nothing” 🤍

She was accepted as a stay in housemaid for the Wi******er family (Andrew, Nina and her daughter Cecilia)

📌This is my first psycho thriller and my first Freida McFadden book so I don’t have any expectations.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

I saw the hype on tiktok and I saw the reviews as well. This is my first psycho thriller book and I was hooked right away. I got lots of notes blaming this and that and reactions mostly 😳😱🤯😮😲. This is an easy read for me. And I love easy reads. And maybe because the book will have its movie adaptation, I already have characters playing in my mind. I’m a big fan of Amanda Seyfried and I can’t wait to see her on the big screen again🥹

I think if you’re new to this kind of genre, this book is the best read for you. Though the story has a lot of plot twists😅 I just love the book. I can’t wait to read The Housemaid’s Secret😍 This book made me realize that I love thriller genres too.

Olive and Adam tried to convince everyone around them they are in love. But while convincing everyone, they forget that their feelings are supposed to be fake.

📌This is my first Ali Hazelwood book so I don’t have any expectations.

As a fan of Korean Dramas this book is too cheesy for me. Though I think this is a good recommendation to readers who are newbie to romance trope. But as someone from the healthcare team, this book was a breath of fresh air. I kinda think the plot was very predictable and sometimes Olive gets so annoying. I’m just tired of the misunderstandings and communication fillers🥹

QOTD: I read this book back in 2022 over the pandemic and now it’s going to be a movie! Wow! Are you excited for the movie adaptation?
