「吹雪の金剛杉」
猛吹雪によって金剛杉の樹皮に粉雪が吹き付けられ、幻想的な姿になった。金剛杉は佐渡島の数ある原始杉の中でも特に姿形がよく、象徴的な存在である。

The Kongo Cedar in a Snowstorm
A powerful blizzard coated the bark of the Kongo Cedar with fine snow, giving it an otherworldly appearance. The Kongo Cedar is one of Sado Island's many ancient cedars, admired for its striking form and symbolic presence.

約12年前に天野 尚によって雄大なスケールで描かれた自然水景は、まるで実際の自然のような水中世界を観賞できます。
水を取り巻く生態系を体現するネイチャーアクアリウムは、大都市のランドマークである東京スカイツリーの根元に位置するこの場所で、訪れる方へ自然の美しさや尊さを伝え続けています。
新潟にて「IAPLC 2024 アワードセレモニー」が開催される11月頃には、さらに見頃を迎えた状態をご覧いただけます。ぜひご来館ください。

A vast aquascape created around 12 years ago by Takashi Amano. To this day, this Nature Aquarium (a recreated underwater ecosystem) continues to convey the beauty and importance of nature to visitors at its location at the base of Tokyo Skytree, a landmark of the metropolis.
By November, when the “IAPLC 2024 Award Ceremony” takes place in Niigata, the aquascape will be at its best, offering you an even more spectacular view. We look forward to your visit.

昨年の夏に札幌にオープンした都市型水族館「AOAO SAPPORO」。ADA水景クリエイター本間 裕介制作7m石組水景「風薫る石景」の現在の様子をご紹介します。これらの水景は設置以来、現地のADAスタッフによって管理が続けられており、立ち上げから18カ月が経過し、ますますと生命力にあふれていくその様子は、まるで水や時の流れを物語っているようです。

新潟にて「IAPLC 2024 アワードセレモニー」が開催される11月頃には、さらなる見頃を迎えた状態をご覧いただけます。皆様のご来館を心よりお待ちしております。

The urban aquarium "AOAO SAPPORO," which opened in Sapporo last summer, features a 7-meter Iwagumi layout created by ADA SUIKEI Creator Yusuke Homma called "Breezy Stonescape". Today, we’d like to share an update on its current appearance.

Carefully maintained by ADA staff since its installation, the aquascape has been thriving for 18 months now and, vibrant and full of life, seems as if it’s telling a story of flowing water and time.

By November, when the "IAPLC 2024 Award Ceremony" takes place in Niigata, the aquascape will be at its best, offering you an even more spectacular view. We look forward to your visit!
