Hello po. A cry for help from a fellow legal professional..
My father has always been a strong man, and we want to give him a fighting chance. I was consumed by prejudice, I thought natutulog lang siya lagi because he is lazy and wala nang gusto sa buhay. But no, he was enduring pain in his appendix... he slept it off to ease the pain.. fearing that a medical condition is a burden, di niya gusto na mahirapan kami, since we are also financially incapable na sa basic needs namin. A family of 6, we only survive our day-to-day through loans and mine and my mom's salary.
But it ruptured. Sumabog appendix niya. And here are we... his family.. scrambling to finance his medical bills. As of the moment, we are almost 250,000 in debt, and lumulubo pa. Nasa ICU kami ngayon... Na scam pa yung sister ko kanina while gathering funds for our father, tinawagan siya sa gcash, and may nag ask ng code to transfer funds to her gcash. My young sister at 20, gave the code that was texted to her, hoping it was for a legit bank transfer and gave it to the scammer. Nagtext agad ang gcash na naconnect sa lazada money niya. Ayun. Nasimot. 20k+ yung nawala. A great mistake, but we are doing our best to report it sa gcash. But may mga tao talaga na garapalan at nag-te-take advantage to the misfortune of others.
I am currently breaking down and I don't know how to get up.
