𝟐𝟑𝟖 𝐅𝐮𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐍𝐚𝐛𝐛𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲: 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝟔 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐦 𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐡𝐮𝐧𝐭 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬

Iloilo City – A total of 238 wanted individuals were arrested across Western Visayas in July 2025, as the Police Regional Office 6 (PRO6) sustained its intensified manhunt operations in the region.

Of the total arrests, 58 were identified as Most Wanted Persons (MWPs): 8 at the Regional Level, 9 at the Provincial/City Level and 41 at the Station Level.

The remaining 180 suspects were categorized as Other Wanted Persons apprehended through a series of coordinated police operations across Western Visayas.

These accomplishments highlight PRO6’s ongoing and strengthened campaign against criminality, reflecting its firm commitment to maintaining peace and order and upholding the rule of law throughout the region.

PBGEN JOSEFINO D LIGAN, Regional Director of PRO6, commended the the tireless efforts and dedication of all units involved in the operations.

“We are sending a clear message — crime has no sanctuary in Western Visayas. These arrests affirm PRO6’s unwavering commitment to justice and public safety. We will continue to pursue fugitives until they are brought before the law. The public deserves nothing less,” said PBGEN LIGAN.

PRO6 also reiterates its call to the public to support law enforcement efforts by reporting any information that could lead to the arrest of wanted persons within their communities.

𝐖𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝟒 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐞

Iloilo City – Elements of Antique Police Provincial Office (PPO) apprehended the region’s top 4 most wanted person on July 30, 2025 at around 3:37 PM in Barangay Funda-Dalipe, San Jose, Antique.

The accused, alias “Tope,” was a 38-year-old, jobless, and a resident of Kalibo, Aklan. He was arrested by a warrant of arrest for the crime of R**e by Sexual Assault under Article 266-A of the RPC, as amended by Section 2 (2) of R.A. 8353, in relation to Article 266-B, as amended by R.A. 8353

The warrant was issued and signed by the court in San Jose, Antique on December 19, 2024, with recommended bail amounting to PHP200,000.00.

The arrest was jointly done by the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, Antique PPO and San Jose Municipal Police Station (MPS).

The arrested person is now under the custody of San Jose MPS for proper disposition prior turn-over to the court concerned.

𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐃𝐫𝐮𝐠 𝐒𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠

Iloilo City – Station Drug Enforcement Team of Passi City Police Station (CPS) conducted a buy-bust operation at around 02:05 PM of July 30, 2025, in Brgy. Punong, Passi City, Iloilo, that resulted in the arrest of a high-value individual (HVI) and the seizure of more or less 150 grams of suspected shabu.

The suspect was identified as alias "Nonoy," 36 years old, a driver, tagged as an HVI, and a resident of Leganes, Iloilo.

Recovered during the operation were eighteen (18) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu; two (2) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected ma*****na leaves; buy-bust money; and other non-drug items.

POLICE BRIGADIER GENERAL JOSEFINO D LIGAN, Police Regional Office 6 top cop praised the operating units of Passi CPS for the arrest and seizure of a large amount of illegal drugs.

“I laud the efforts of Passi CPS operating units for this accomplishment. This speaks about their dedication and continuous efforts to eliminate illegal drugs in the region,” PBGEN LIGAN said.

The arrested person is currently under the custody of Passi CPS for proper disposition and filing of appropriate charges.
