With the themeโ€œHarnessing the Unknown: Powering the Future Through Science and Innovation,โ€ the 2025 Division Science and Technology Fair held on October 3โ€“4 at Jaro National High School became a stage of triumph for La Paz National High School (LPNHS).

LPNHS students showcased excellence as James Nar U. Jacela, Jules Andrei A. Pahitamos, John Dereck Arbis, and Kaiszchen Eira D. Delos Santos clinched 1st Place in Create, Show, and Tell, guided by coaches Cyrus C. Trance and Angelus C. Gemora. In the Science Writing Contest, Leslie Angela Nograles emerged victorious, securing 1st Place under the mentorship of Sarah J. Wendam.

Under the leadership of Science Department Head Maโ€™am Gemma Naciongayo Sinamban, LPNHS mentors and learners proved their excellence in the field of science and innovation.

Last October 3, 2025 to commemorate World Teachersโ€™ Day, La Paz NHS gave the teachers a red-carpet treatment to celebrate their passion and unwavering commitment to their work. Each teacher was warmly greeted and applauded as a true symbol of respect and appreciation from the entire school community.

The celebration was filled with joy and unity, highlighted by lively performances from both teachers and students across the councils, showcasing the strong bond and teamwork that define our school spirit. In the afternoon, the festivities continued with a heartwarming community lunch, exciting raffle draws, and fun-filled games that brought laughter and smiles to everyone.

Today, we celebrate not just their profession, but their lasting impact on every learnerโ€™s journey. Thank you, dear teachers, for being our mentors, guides, and inspirations.

The program features worship songs and preaching as the school community comes together in faith and gratitude, finding unity and strength despite challenges, including the recent earthquake.

Hinampang 2025 was more than a battle of strength. It was a jungle of lessons in unity, discipline, and respect. It proved that the greatest lessons are not confined to the classroom but are learned in the โ€œjunglesโ€ of experienceโ€”where teamwork conquers challenges, discipline hones abilities, and respect strengthens bonds. As the cheers fade, the spirit of camaraderie, sportsmanship, and shared triumphs will continue to inspire the LPNHS community.

La Paz National High School marked September 29, 2025 with a meaningful Tree Planting Activity in line with the Region and Division Office's advocacy program, โ€œGreen Schools, Brighter Minds.โ€The initiative was led by the school's Council Advisers and Coordinators, with strong participation from the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), WINS Club, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of the Philippines, along with other student organizations.

The activity emphasized the school's continuing commitment to environmental responsibility, showing that collective action not only nurtures nature but also inspires learners to grow with brighter, greener minds.

The Red Wolves (Grade 10) clashed with the Maroon Scorpions (Senior High) in an intense three set match. The Red Wolves emerged victorious with scores, 25- 23, 17-25, and 25-18.

Meanwhile, the Yellow Jaguars (Grade 8 ) roared with determination as they defeated the Green Mantis (Grade 7) with the scores 25-15 and 25-18.

The athletes displayed relentless determination, earning multiple rewards for their unwavering dedication and perseverance. Held at the Iloilo Sports Complex, the much-anticipated event kicked off at 5:30 am and resumed at 2:30 pm. Despite the unpredictable weather, the young runners persevered, crossing the finish line with sheer grit. Congratulations, runners!
