Senior High School Pasundayag 2026 has officially started, and the campus is now full of color, food, and fun! Each strand proudly presented their booths with creative festival themes. ABM brought the bright and lively vibes of the Mascara Festival, filled with bold colors and eye-catching decorations that truly stood out. HE showcased the strong and artistic spirit of Pintados, with detailed designs that reflected culture and tradition. HUMSS bloomed beautifully with their Panagbenga theme, decorating their booth with flowers and soft, vibrant colors that made everyone stop and take photos. All the booths were thoughtfully designed, and you can clearly see the effort, teamwork, and creativity that each strand poured into their displays.

The Food Hall also opened for the day, and it quickly became one of the most visited spots. Each section proudly served their best dishes, offering a mix of sweet treats and savory favorites that everyone enjoyed. The smell of delicious food filled the area, and students happily lined up to taste what their classmates prepared. To end the day, the fashion show featured Grade 11 students confidently walking the runway in their creative outfits. From simple and classy looks to bold and unique styles, the students showed their talent and confidence. It was a fun and memorable way to celebrate everyoneโ€™s hard work and creativity during Pasundayag 2026.

A rough road was never an obstacle, but rather a testament to his hard work. Molded by determination, dedication, and commitment to his sport, Melchor Bataican III continues to rise to the top. His efforts were recently recognized as he received the 2025 Gawad Pagkilala sa Larangan ng Sports: Outstanding Athlete for Combative Sports (Arnis) held at Paradise Garden Resort Hotel & Convention Center, Boracay on December 1, 2025.

For Bataican III, despite the maze of challenges he faced, giving up was never an option. He kept his feet firmly on the ground, his stick moving through the air with fluid precisionโ€”each strike bringing pride to the home of Western Visayas. He has lifted the regionโ€™s name not just once, but multiple times, proving the consistency of his passion and determination to carry Western Visayas to even greater heights.

On Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 8:30 AM to 8:50 AM, the La Paz National High School โ€“ School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (LPNHS-SDRRM) team successfully led an Earthquake Drill participated by the Regular Class, Special Program in the Arts (SPA), and the Senior High School (SHS) councils.

The activity aimed to enhance studentsโ€™ awareness and preparedness in responding to earthquakes through proper ex*****on of the โ€œDuck, Cover, and Holdโ€ procedure. It also emphasized the importance of staying calm, alert, and coordinated during emergencies to ensure everyoneโ€™s safety.

Through this drill, LPNHS continues to uphold its commitment to creating a safe and disaster-resilient school community. The participation of every student and teacher showcased unity and readinessโ€”key values in promoting a culture of preparedness within the school.
Together, we stay safe, ready, and resilient!
