Showcasing innovation, collaboration, and academic excellence, the 2026 International Research Forum of the College of Business and Management gathered students, researchers, educators, and professionals from various institutions and countries for a two-day virtual celebration of research and learning. Anchored on the theme, โWorking Together for Business and Management Innovation,โ the event was successfully conducted on May 7 and 9, 2026 via Zoom Teleconferencing.
The program officially opened with registration and preliminary activities, followed by inspiring opening remarks from Dr. Raymund B. Moreno, Dean of the College of Business and Management. Messages of support were also delivered by university officials who emphasized the importance of research and innovation in todayโs rapidly changing world. The forum featured keynote speakers Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd Raziff Bin Jamaluddin from Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia, and Dr. Don Anton R. Balida from Muscat City, Oman, who shared valuable insights and expertise related to business, communication, ethics, and management.
One of the highlights of the forum was the oral presentation and digital poster competition, where undergraduate and graduate students showcased their research studies in various categories including Business Administration, Cooperative Management, Hospitality Management, and Tourism Management. Esteemed panel evaluators from the Philippines and Malaysia assessed the presentations and provided constructive feedback to the participants. The forum also recognized the efforts and contributions of evaluators, judges, presenters, and organizers through awarding ceremonies and certificates of appreciation.
As the program came to a close, participants expressed gratitude for the opportunity to share knowledge, develop research skills, and connect with fellow researchers despite the virtual setup.
The success of the 2026 International Research Forum reflected the institutionโs commitment to academic excellence, international collaboration, and innovative research that contributes to the advancement of business and management education.
