Despite the all-new Triton launched globally way back July 2023 (January 2024 in the Philippines), the third-generation Montero Sport has given any ther facelift for the second time. Though, there was no info regarding the next generation model, the Montero Sport today stays strong, reliable, and versatile through the years. ‼️HERE YE, HERE YE!!! THE ALL-NEW 2ND GENEREATION MG ZS, IS NOW AVAILABLE IN THE PHILIPPINES THAT GOES GREATER, SEXIER, AND GREENER THAN EVER BEFORE.‼️

July 3, 2025, MG Philippines launches the all-new MG ZS with a new style, an improved features, and a new powertrain, particularly the Hybrid+. Since the first ZS had came in the PH market, sales are remarkably goes bigger and stronger because the ZS is one of the ideal cars of many Filipinos. Now, on its second generation, MG brings you more from the all-new ZS.

The all-new ZS offers a fresh new althrougout with its sleek design and simplified aspects greeted with a luxurious taste, and one thing that made me caught of my attention is the cockpit of the car, which resembles a Lamborghini, particularly the Urus. Moreover, the front end gets an inspiration from either the MG One or the MG GT. In all honesty, the front looks like the current Toyota Camry XV80, and the back looks like the BMW X3. On top of that, the all-new MG ZS gets the MG's Pilot assistance, known as the MG Pilot, featuring it's advanced driver-assist and safety features allowing them to make it safer and secured.

In terms of powertrain, the all-new MG ZS (Philippine Spec) has offered with three engine choices. All of which are in a 1.5-liter displacement gasoline engine, and first in the list is a regular naturally-aspirated, which is only available for the Comfort and Luxury variants, second is the turbocharged version that is available for the Sport variant, and the best powertrain spec that many of you can get is the hybrid powertrain contains a naturally-aspirated engine paired with a single electric motor connected to a 1.83 kWh Nickel Cobalt Manganese battery. Transmissions are CVT and 3-speed Hybrid automatic (only for the Hybrid+), and all variants are in a FWD drivetrain.

Maayung adlaw mga Ka-Swabe! Last December 7, 2024, Toyota made a debut in the Philippines of the ultimate workhorse, the all-new Tamaraw (known as the Hilux Champ in Thailand). It was debut in different parts of the country, particularly in the Queen City of the South, Cebu City, and since I was there during that time, I was able to get an opportunity to take a first up-close and personal look to the actual vehicle and it was a heck of a sturdy, quirky, and attractive workhorse that everyone is expected for.

During in the late '80s and in the early '90s, the Tamaraw name made its reputation and well-known to every Filipinos to be one of the most trusted vehicles at all time as the Tamaraw FX. Little did you know that the Tamaraw FX is the predecessor of the Toyota Revo, and now the Toyota Innova. Due to popular demand, the Tamaraw nameplate made its remarkable comeback as a single-cab pickup truck with a different types of body configurations. The Tamaraw is focused on a utilitarian purpose, which may fit for mostly in the business industry likely delivery services, food truck services, emergency van, and all other types.

Despite of that, the Tamaraw gets the Hilux name and it receives a robotic exterior design that caught up every people's attention as they see this truck. For instance, the all-new Tamaraw is based in the Toyota IMV 0 Concept seen last 2023 in Thailand, and rides on a ladder on frame chassis configuration as used from the current Hilux from an IMV platform.

The olny powertrain of the Tamaraw is shared from its IMV brothers (likely the Hilux, the Fortuner, and the Innova), and that is a 2GD-FTV 2.4-liter 4-cylinder turbodiesel engine with Variable Nozzle Turbo making 148 HP and 343 - 400 Nm, which could be paired either a 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. Additionally, this truck gets only a RWD drivetrain.
