PBGEN TUAÑO OFFICIALLY DESIGNATED AS PRO6 REGIONAL DIRECTOR
WESTERN VISAYAS – Police Brigadier General Randulf T. Tuaño has officially been designated as the Regional Director of the Police Regional Office 6 (PRO6), following the issuance of General Orders Number NHQ-GO-DES-2026-4472 dated August 4, 2026, signed by authority of the Chief, Philippine National Police, Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr.
PBGen Tuaño first assumed command of PRO6 in an acting capacity on May 22, 2026. Since then, the command has continued to pursue intelligence-driven law enforcement operations, strengthen internal discipline, enhance emergency response capabilities, and deepen partnerships with communities across Western Visayas.
During the period, PRO6 recorded significant operational accomplishments, including a reduction in the eight focus crimes, intensified anti-illegal drug operations, sustained campaigns against wanted persons and loose fi****ms, strengthened environmental law enforcement, and the continued implementation of the Unified 911 Program.
PBGen Tuaño expressed his sincere gratitude to the leadership of the Philippine National Police and the National Police Commission for the trust and confidence bestowed upon him.

Nartatez Jr., for their trust and confidence. I also thank every member of PRO6 for their unwavering dedication and commitment to duty. This designation carries an even greater responsibility to serve, and it inspires us to work even harder. Together, we will continue providing responsive, professional, and people-centered police service for a Safer Western Visayas," PBGen Tuaño said.
PBGen Tuaño reaffirmed that PRO6 will continue to strengthen law enforcement efforts, deepen partnerships with communities and stakeholders, and further improve police service delivery in support of the vision of a Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas.
