RHU Bingawan Partners with School for Health Awareness Lecture
In line with the school’s commitment to holistic student development, the Rural Health Unit (RHU) of Bingawan conducted a meaningful and informative health talk on September 16, 2025, focusing on critical issues that affect today’s youth.
The session covered three timely and relevant topics: the risks of pre-marital s*x and early pregnancy, mental health awareness, and HIV/AIDS prevention. These discussions were designed to equip students with the knowledge and values necessary to make responsible choices, protect their well-being, and promote a healthy lifestyle.
The lecture was facilitated by the dedicated health professionals of RHU Bingawan, who engaged students through interactive discussions and practical advice. By tackling sensitive yet important topics, the activity created a safe space for awareness and understanding, empowering students to reflect on the consequences of their decisions and to prioritize both physical and mental health.
The school expressed its gratitude to RHU Bingawan for being a steadfast partner in education. Their collaboration exemplifies how health and education sectors can work hand-in-hand to shape responsible, well-informed, and resilient young individuals.
This initiative reaffirms the school’s mission of nurturing not only academic excellence but also the overall well-being of its learners, ensuring that they are guided to make sound decisions for their future.
