A touching moment with children:
I went home at 3:00 o'clock in the afternoon and i saw children sweeping and gathering garbages along the road.
I approached them and said some words " baw kapisan sa ila ba!" One of the talkative boy replied.

" Huo La, gintinluan namon diri kay wala naga paninlo sang ila ugsaran ang tag iya da sang balay hu." And pointed the house. I laughed and told them..Sigi tapusa ninyo tagaan ta kamo merienda karon.

Maayo pa ang mga bata, grabe ang observation sa community. Pero ang gintudlo nga balay sang bata nga wala naga paninlo sa ila ugsaran, its very shameful to this little children.

A PAG-ABOT Program officer recently visited to inspect the construction of a housing unit intended for one beneficiary of the PAG-ABOT Program.

The PAG-ABOT Program is a national government project designed to assist homeless families across the country. Fortunately, Barangay Calumpang has two beneficiaries under this program. From living on the streets, they were rescued and brought back to their hometown.

Now, they each have their own homes and have also received livelihood assistance from the government through the DSWDO.

The first implementation of our program, “One Barangay Calumpang”, for every child and woman was successfully conducted through a zonal discussion on Children’s Rights and Violence Against Women and Their Children (VAWC – RA 9262).

This is a collaborative project of the Barangay Council for the Protection of Children (BCPC), VAWC Desk, Sangguniang Kabataan (SK), Lupong Tagapamayapa, and Day Care Centers. Each office was assigned specific topics to present:
