With its commitment to support food security and water sufficiency, DSWD FO VI, through its Early Recovery and Rehabilitation Unit, conducted a coordination and planning meeting in the cities of La Carlota and Bago. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 (𝗖𝗙𝗧𝗪) 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 Project LAWA at BINHI 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 (𝗜𝗗𝗣𝘀) 𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗞𝗮𝗻𝗹𝗮𝗼𝗻 𝘃𝗼𝗹𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗲𝗿𝘂𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.
Present during the meeting were representatives from the City Social Welfare and Development Offices (CSWDOs), Environment and Natural Resources Offices (ENROs), Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Offices (LDRRMOs), and City Agriculture Offices (CAOs).
This activity is being undertaken in close coordination with DSWD Negros Island Region, and centers on drafting project proposals, preparing documentary requirements, and conducting preliminary identification of project sites.
