On the evening of September 1, a fire broke out in Zone 8, Barangay Veterans Village, Iloilo City, affecting several homesβ€”including the home of Aeiou Gabriel Novia, one of our fellow JBLFMU (Arevalo) students and a valued member of Maritime Lenses.

In just one night, a place that once held memories, comfort, and a family’s everyday life was suddenly taken away by fire.

As members of the JBLFMU–Arevalo family and Maritime Lenses, we are reaching out to everyone who may be willing to extend a helping hand. This is one of our own, and we believe that no Lacsonian should have to face a difficult time alone.

Any amount, no matter how small, can make a difference as our fellow student and their family begin to rebuild from what was lost.
